Hello, I am doing a POC on the Adobe Target Server Side implementation. It will technically be hybrid in that I will take what the Target delvers back to the node.js and drop it into an object. Then I will use the SPA to grab the experience/markup from the object.My question has to do with the visitorApi. In the below snippet from the sdk, we assume the user has a visitor cookie(AMCID). If the user has never visited the site he/she wont be eligible for any activities at all.With that said, am I missing something here? Should I make the visitor api call from my node js server and passing that to target and also back in the response header to be set on the client side like it would if it was initiated from the client side?

We are trying to build the product recommendations functionality with Adobe Target, and the major challenge we are experiencing is that the ftp server set up for product feed. We already have our feed set up in few sftp servers, but our understanding is that we cannot used secured ftp for Adobe Target (which is very strange). Do you have a work around for this? We could not convince our information security to set up a ftp that is not secured.

I would like to understand from other Target or optimization experts if you have worked on an A/B test where you have not split 50-50 traffic between the control and the challenger and if yes what's the reason behind it.I understand that doing a 50-50 split reach the statistical significance faster thus reducing the testing period.What if I do a 20-80 or 80-20 split? Hi,I had some experience Targeting Activity running on a react app. I have placed code on URL path change to trigger triggerView() function which is working fine.I did some personalizations like changing text etc. All of them works fine when I navigate to the views via website clicks.But when I click on browser back button, it shows the default content of view and not the content coming from Target activity.Has anyone got similar issue and the way to resolve it.ThanksSambhav

In the 'My primary goal' section, I have used viewed a page --> URL contain -- '/pagex.html' as a metricTarget reportIf I see analytics report for the page (pagex.html) that is way more than 6,981 visitors.what is causing this discrepancy?Vinodh

Is this possible?The test was set up to Auto allocate to best performing experience so it seems Target was used as the reporting source for the test.Only we need to understand how the test experiences is performing on other key success metrics and we cant seem to add them in.Is there a way to do this or use analytics to see the users in the current test and then report on them that way?ThanksMatt

We have a requirement to implement personalization test from Target in order to improve the site performance and to increase conversion by giving the personalized content which the users are most interested in. Hi,I have a Target activity with control experience, and then 2 other (B and C) experiences im serving.For the 3rd or C experience, I want it to run only once per user session.Example: The user comes to the page, sees the experience, navigates away from the page, THEN comes back to the page. When the user comes BACK to the page, i do not want the experience to run again.Is there a quick easy way to do this? Possibly a code example or snippet?thank you,David

We are running recently viewed recommendation activity and we are passing "price" value in mbox parameter as entity.value (whole number only). We are using this value in Design. Problem is, the price is shown in with decimal value only. Why by default the values are coming in decimal.

I've setup a recommendations campaign to show most recently viewed devices on the website. It works when I view a few devices and go to home page. But when I view a few more devices and go back to homepage the list is not being updated with the recently viewed device. Is this how the default functionality is configured to work or am I doing something wrong ? Can you please help ?Thanks,Vikas

Hi,I deleted the experience fragment  from Adobe Target . Now when i go to my AEM instance then I get option to Delete/Update the Experience Fragment in Target.But when I try to do so I get an error that it cannot be Deleted/Updated. (Reason: "Caused by: java.lang.Exception: Unexpected response status code [404] for request" "Offer not found. Some other user might have deleted it.").Please let me know how can I republish my XF to Target.Thanks.
