Hello,As we know, the segmentation is mutually exclusive, so a person will exist only in the first segment for which it qualifies (by priority). I'm working on segmentation optimization, and I've created a brand new one: this is just a DRAFT, and it has never been approved. I need to confirm a doubt because I found the same record across different segments in this new one. Also, if I sum up the number of people across the segments, the outcome is greater than the database count. So I can imagine there are duplicates across the segmentation.Does the mutual exclusion filter work ONLY if the segmentation has been approved?  This could be problematic because if I have an exclusion list at the top of the priority order that should filter out people from the following segments, if not approved, I cannot understand if the segmentation is working fine. Approving it is a little bit problematic (I already have 20 segmentations - which is a hard limit), and I should creat

In June 2024, Adobe deprecated Marketo Measure fields on the SFDC Lead/Contact objects. This means that new downloads of the Marketo Measure install package in Salesforce will no longer insert custom Lead/Contact fields, and the integration automation will no longer copy data from Measure Touchpoints to Lead/Contact fields. Why was the change implemented in Marketo Measure?Performance, cost, and market timing. Ok I am doing nothing very complicated. I am looking at a field which is a picklist of values (specifically currency type). Based on that I need to display a very specific value. I started to write a velocity scrip and tested it and got it to partially work, but when I changed the value to be the price it stopped working. If I could get advice on how to fix this I appreciate it. Hello, I have a Marketo form with a checkbox.I created a Smart campaign with Smart List trigger: Fill out Form.I added a Flow: Send Email.I would like to only send the email if the checkbox is checked. I don't see anything in the trigger "Contraints". How would I go about triggering this Smart Campaign ONLY IF the form checkbox is submitted as checked (true)?Thank you!

Hi! Does anyone use the SurveyMonkey/Marketo integration, and sync SurveyMonkey responses back to Salesforce? I'm finding that responses can only be mapped back to the Lead/Contact objects in Salesforce, so I'm curious to see how others have set up these response fields in Salesforce to capture this data. We will be using this integration for multiple surveys, and users may complete the same survey more than once, so the business is looking to capture historical data as well.   Any insight or ideas are appreciated. Thanks!

Hi... Has anyone run a Facebook Lead Ad with custom questions set up on their Facebook form and successfully mapped all the responses to Marketo fields? I am new to Marketo and I am struggling with the mapping of custom questions/answers.When I go to the mapping screen and click on "add" I see both the question and the answers listed, so I am not sure if I should mapp the question or the answer. Especially one of the question is around email consent and answers are yes or no. So should I mapp the "email consent" question to "email opt-in"  and then the answers would be the values pushed to this field (true/false)? Thanks,Odile

Hi,    I've been setting up my nurture flow and wanted to add wait steps between emails to stretch the content a bit longer.   I'm not that used to use Marketo, however i would assume that the lead waits for 1 week in stream 1 before being transferred to stream 2 with the current set up?

Hi,  I am currently creating our company's brand-specific email template with some reusable modules for our marketers. I am trying to make it compatible with outlook desktop clients particulary the old versions. Hi,I am new to learning Marketo. Need help understanding the relevance of "Change Program Success" flow step and also to clarify a doubt regarding the same. Question : I am running a smart campaign in a program having a channel with the following statuses :Opened, Clicked, Engagedwhere I am trying the "Change Program Status" and "Change Program Success" flow steps to have a better understanding on these concepts.  If using the  "change program status" I am giving the status as "clicked" (which is not a success step) and in the "Change Program Success" flow step , I am giving success as true then Isn't it wrong as clicked is not a success for this program. When I go and see the status of a lead in the members tab the status is clicked but the success is also captured. Help me understand its relevance.    

Hello my lovely Community! I'm currently setting up some Custom Activities for the first time (I love an opportunity to learn something new in Marketo!) and one of the fields I need to add on several of the activities is a URL capture. There is no URL field type in the options: Of course, I dived right into the Community to check out what I could use as an alternative and came across this post where @darshil_shah1 notes that a URL field is best for storing information that is ONLY a URL and @sanfordwhiteman noted that a Textarea field would be better for entire URLs because URL fields are limited to 255 characters. However, there's no Textarea field either so my only option appears to be a String field (which also has a limit of 255 characters). I also checked the Custom Field Type Glossary and Field Types where there are a lot more fields defined than there are available for Custom Activity fields - are options intentionally limited here or
