Imposing size limit on list imports

Hi all, 

Has anyone tried to impose a size limit on the number of people that can be brought into Marketo via a list import by users?

For example, if the file size is over 50k records I would to import it myself as admin to ensure quality control.

A reasonable request, but you can’t enforce this via the UI. You can build a custom import app (honestly it’s hard to believe many companies can survive without one!) that uses the REST API and enforces this and many other restrictions.
