I noticed today that my thank-you page was not loading when I tested the form on a landing page. I was trying to sync two Mkto instances with a simple webhook posting a dummy form, I have all the bits such as formVid but...  Could not execute a webhook to the given URL   . Hello all,   I usually don't like it when trigger actions are based on "Clicks Links in Email" or "Visits Web Page". But for a double opt-in process where a person has to click a link that says "Please confirm your email address here", I see no other way.   These links usually lead to a Marketo Landing Page, so "Clicks Link" and "Visit Web Page" should be functionally identical. Yet I see pretty regularly that e.g. "Visit Web Page" occurs in the Activity History, but "Clicks Link" does not. Or "Clicks Link" is delayed - in my current case even by ~20 minutes.   What would you recommend to use as the trigger for this case? Clicks Link, Visit Web Page or even both? Or something else entirely?Thanks!Michael

Hello all! My organization has youth education workshops that we run monthly. Typically we use our Kentico CMS, but looking to move to Marketo to automate more aspects of the events and webinars.   The registration form is filled out with the attending STUDENT's information like Name, Address, City, etc and then an email address where the details are sent to. This email is typically a parent - but not always.   Any tips on the best way to avoid new leads or dupe leads being created? Or the best way to isolate these registrations into their own bucket to avoid filtering into main emails?   I know I could do custom fields with the Student information - but looking to see if there's a better way.   Any advice on the best way to handle this is welcome 🙂 Thank you!

Hi, I'm looking for the specific criteria for email addresses to be filtered (excluded) from smart lists. If for example I want to exclude all support@company.com address from smart lists, how should this be entered in the values chooser?   Would one or all of these successfully exclude the address? support support@ support@company.com My preference is to simply enter support@ and have it excluded all address that match the username "support@". Entering specific email addresses is time consuming, so a shorthand keyword would be preferred.

Hi all, curious if anybody out there has had this same experience... For a few months instead of building our monthly newsletter in the Marketo builder, we built it in BeePro (so much quicker and simpler) and pasted the html to Marketo. The emails looked great, but all our stats (opens, clicks, everything) were significantly lower. After a couple months and some testing, we switched back to the Marketo builder and all our stats were back up again, just as strong as they were before the switch. We provided all the details to both Marketo Support and BeePro support, and neither were helpful in diagnosing the issue. Marketo Support just gave me generic deliverability advice without even addressing BeePro, and BeePro support just blamed Marketo. I know other people have successfully used BeePro html in Marketo... is anybody else familiar with this situation? Follow-up question, are there any free external builders similar to BeePro that you'd recommend checking out?   Thanks so much a

I have a custom field called "Last Email Click Date" which is populated everytime a email click is triggered. I want to do a check using FlowBoost if this date is a week ago, two weeks ago, one month ago etc so that I can do a time decay of the score accordingly.   logic is this. Date1 = {{system.dateTime}} - 7 days Date2 = {{system.dateTime}} - 30 days CheckDate = {{lead.Last Email Click Date}}   if (Date1 > Check Date) TimeDecay = -5; elseif (Date2 > Check Date) TimeDecay = -10; else TimeDecay = 0;

I recently watched the webinar by @sanfordwhiteman about Google reCAPTCHA v3 and I had a couple of questions.   Apologies if this is buried in another thread but I have two questions.   I have the Smart Campaigns and lists proposed in the webinar and they are firing correctly and the code implementation seems to be working as well.   We do not use "Interesting Moments" due to not being an SFDC shop so what do you suggest we use to replace that tag for "passing recaptcha"?   Second question is: What do I add to my smart campaigns that are running for my current forms to ensure they check for the reCAPTCHA pass before they move on to the other workflows? Is it just "Call webhook" as the first step or do I need to add a wait step and something else to ensure that the person passes the reCAPTCHA before they go through the entire workflow?   Hope I am clear enough in my questions but let me know if I need to be more specific!    

Hello everyone,Yesterday I tried all day to achieve something but couldn't do it, so here I am. What I'm trying to do is when the user select one or more checkboxes in a first form on a non-marketo LP (Wordpress page) it opens (after submitting the selected options to the database) a lightbox with a 2nd form and then when the user fill this other form it redirects the user to a thankyou page.I found how to open a lightbox and how open a form inside lightbox after the submit (even if didn't work like I expected) but I couldn't find a way to do everything. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Hello all!   I'm wondering whether it's possible to create a smart campaign that could transfer a URL value from an anonymous session if the lead converts in the same session.    Marketo Support helped me set up a smart campaign that is triggered by lead creation, however, the first page that is picked up and transferred to my custom field is typically a thank you page, post-form conversion.  Ideally, the flow step would be able to reference earlier web activity tracked for the individual from that session, which I would assume would be considered anonymous activity.   We're recent HubSpot converts and the native "first page seen" functionality was really helpful to us from an SEO standpoint to understand entry points, so I'm hoping to replicate the process here as closely as possible.   Does anyone have any suggestions for how we could track this type of information?

I've copied the code from an existing template in our default workspace and updated all the relevant items for this other brand (including the CSS stylesheet). However, there is one item that I cannot figure out how/where to update and I am hoping that someone can point me in the right direction (for context, I have no CSS/HTML training but can figure out where to update items in existing code).   In the footer of this landing page, we have a version of our logo that I would like to update:     While this element has an ID=FooterLogo and is part of {FooterSection}, it doesn't look like it's linked to anywhere in the overall HTML (nor the stylesheet) - it's part of the meta class information at the top of the page:  <meta class="mktoBoolean" id="FooterSection" mktoName="Footer Section" default="true" false_value="none

Hi @dave_roberts - You kindly helped me recently with a form fields formatting issue caused by some whacky custom CSS on the form and JS on the Landing Page that was inherited. I have another Landing Page where I'm trying to add the same checkboxes field and having a formatting problem that I hope you can help with. Note that I stripped the Custom CSS from the form entirely. This didn't change anything on the form except for the way in which my new field was failing to display correctly. We have the need for an internal referral system for our sales team to share existing customers  across our recently merged company. Our Salesforce and Marketo has many duplicates that make the data fuzzy in the Marketo system. The business wants it to be by a form fill that the sales rep fills out, but we are concerned with the overwriting of data on the sales rep's profile and the reporting only showing last form fill out. Does anyone have a best practice on using Marketo for internal referral forms?

Hi There,   Is there a way to set a validation rule on a single form, instead of setting the rule to span globally across all forms? We are looking to test out blocking freemail domains from being able to submit one of our forms, but do not want to set that rule to affect all other forms. I'm aware that you can set the global rule and choose to ignore that rule on a form-by-form basis, but since we'd only like to try this on a single form, I was hoping I wouldn't have to set the rule globally and disable it on every single form in our instance other than the form we are using for our test.   Thanks!

hi all,I  want to do an appointment changed email, but i cant workout how to configure the token, if it requires a zoom link.   obviously we want the zoom link to display if its a video appointment, but otherwise we don't want the token to display, how do we do this please?bare in mind we'll also be using a snippet icon as a bullet alongside this token. cheers in advance.Okay so we're just going to use a separate email for the video call apts, this feels like the easiest way with scripting dev.  

HI - I was wondering what step I would need to take to synch a marketo programs with SFDC once the campaign is set up in Marketo. I've tried synching with the end goal of creating a like for like campaign in SFDC however getting the error below which make me think we need to explore further. Any guidance/advice is appreciated.

Hi,   I have created an Email-type Program (Program Test) and a child Email (Test Email 002): I would like to use the REST API to associate this Email with the parent Program so that it shows up as the selected Email in the Program UI: I've tried looking through the documentation for the REST API but have been unable to find an endpoint that will allow me to perform this action. Does such an endpoint exist and if so, could you point me to the relevant documentation?

Hello all!I've recently been looking at how I could potentially integrate Live Events / Webinars from Microsoft teams into Marketo. I can't find any documentation on this. I've also looked at Zapier but it doesn't have the functionality required for live events / webinars from MS Teams. Just wondering if anyone has had any success and could share their experience with it? Thanks.
