Adobe Marketo Engage

Hi there,    Wondering what the best way to set up this nurture:  Week 1: First email  Week 2: First email again for people who didn't open the first time (with slightly different content) Week 2: Second email  Week 3: Second email again for people who didn't open the second email (with slightly different content)    and so and so forth for 10 weeks. This isn't how I would recommend content being sent out, but this is how it was decided.    Should I create a smart campaign with a bunch of wait steps and data value changes saying that if they didn't open x email then send the next? We are is there a better way to set this up? I can't use streams right? I still have them in an engagement program so I can change status to nurture.

Hi there, I'm new to the community but thought I'd reach out for some help.    I'm looking to understand if there are advantages to using Marketo's built-in Dynamic Content over using Velocity script in emails (outside of potentially ease of use when creating the emails).    For example, would reporting capabilities be any different if I make content dynamic using the built-in functionality instead of scripting?     Thank you!

Do you use a web chat platform? If you do, you should know the ins and outs of how Marketo Measure (fka Bizible) tracks them. It really comes down to if you are using a chat platform that Marketo Measure has an integration with or not, so let’s dig in from there!   If you are using a chat platform that Marketo Measure has an integration with — Drift, LiveChat, LivePerson, Olark, SnapEngage — the JavaScript will track the chat just like it would a form fill. This means that Marketo Measure will automatically track any chats where the prospect or person inputs their email address into the chat window. The JavaScript will see this and create a Touchpoint. Hi I need some help on a velocity script token I am trying to create to use in a text based email. Here's what I'm trying to do: My email is a notification that goes out after a customer fills out a form and the reason I'm going this route is because we're over the 40 token limit that you can include in an email. However not every form fill will have over 40 fields to display as some of those fields are conditional on the form. We have fields for up to 4 users. In the email I want the data that the user 2 has inputted in the form to display only if that field is not empty (if statement only needs to be on the User name since if this is empty the rest of the fields would be too). Some of the fields that they are filling out are Boolean fields (so they check them or leave them blank) and rather than my email having 1's and 0's I want the script to say Yes or No on that particular field and display what the name of the field is. We've been working to get our DKIM verified with Marketo but with no luck. I've confirmed the SPF record is set up correctly, and the DKIM can be verified as accurate through MXToolbox or other DKIM/Dmarc checker sites. However Marketo is still pending setup Marketo support has given instructions that all our servers need to have the DKIM key on them, but we have several internal servers that our IT/Security team has issues adding publicly accessible keys too. So my question...   If external checker sites confirm that our DKIM record is set up correctly, does Marketo's verification matter at all? Or are we able to just leave this as 'pending verification' forever?

Hi Everyone,   As we know, lots of dark mode email clients doesn't support all the colors some supports fully however some partially support.   Does anyone have any latest code for the dark mode clients or have any suggestions on the best code for the dark mode email clients as we struggle every time when we need to work on the dark mode projects, like how we choose the colors according to the email clients?   Any help would be very helpful!   Thanks! Self-Service Flow Steps is now in Open Beta and can be enabled on your Marketo instance through the Treasure Chest in your Admin menu.  SSFS is a collection of features which allow you to design and deploy custom flow actions as web services, that can be used directly by Marketo Smart Campaigns.  SSFS is designed for Marketo customers and technology partners that want to build deeper integrations with Marketo Smart Campaigns and leverage capabilities like batch and executable campaigns which are not available with legacy webhooks.  Custom Flow Actions can send data from lead records and Smart Campaign context to and external web service, and then write lead and activity data back to your Marketo database.  The developer documentation is available on GitHub and you can find the User Guide here.    I will also be hosting Office Hours every other week to provide support and guidance on designing, building, and troubleshooting your own service.&

The $name variable works and displays as expected in all cases. The url doesn't work. But only doens't work for the dependent values, the fallback value always shows.   After some testing, I found that if I take the $url out of the href tag and paste them as seperate lines, it works just fine. I have encountered an error that where the Lead is unable to sync to our CRM (Salesforce) because the user cannot be found.     exceptionMessage: CRM user with name ' {Sales User Name' not found fault: Sync Lead to SFDC caught exception Source: Marketo Flow Action   Has anyone received this error and resolved it?

Changes to Marketo Engage Secured Domains Platform   We are announcing changes to how landing page and tracking link domains will be secured in the future using Marketo Engage managed SSL certificates. On October 18, 2022 our partner Cloudflare will change their certificate vendor from DigiCert to Google Trust Services and Let’s Encrypt. This change will only impact Marketo Engage managed certificates issued or automatically renewed on or after October 18th.   Will this change impact my Marketo Engage hosted domains? Hi, I am trying to add the pre-header in my emails however, they are not visible when sending out as a sample in Outlook. Though, I can see the pre-header in other mail servers like Gmail, Yahoo, etc.. Is there any way to enable the visibility of pre-headers in Outlook. I tried to add it under the email settings and by creating a my.token too. They both didn't work. Thanks!

Hey team,   What is the expected behaviour when updating a lead using the REST SyncLead API (Non Bulk) and passing an empty/blank value? I was under the impression that a blank/null value for a field would ignore the current value of field while passing a string of "NULL" would clear the field.   Is that correct?   Thank you, Vlad
