Is there a way to set up unsubscribe filtering per Workspace? My company currently has a catch-all unsubscribe process for all marketing communications but we are a separate consulting group within the organization whose emails are more informative vs marketing and the recipients "DO" indeed want to receive our emails still.   Sorry, new to marketo and would love to create this vital need for our team.

OK, since this group has been so helpful, allow me to indulge (context: completely new to Marketo and trying to learn rapidly).  Here's the context of what I'm trying to achieve:   We have custom objects of appointments with an appointment datetime field (amongst other attributes) - tied to lead records.  Datetime is always posted in Pacific Time offset. The source system where these appointments are generated don't have webhooks, so we're having to do a daily query of the previous day's appointments scheduled and do a bulk import to custom objects via Marketo API We'd ideally like to do appointment reminder emails 30 minutes prior to the scheduled appointment date time in the custom object (we have other frequencies in days ahead of the appointment, but this is not my concern - batch campaigns should do nicely), realizing that there could still be delays in delivery, but we're not expecting to send out anything more than 30 at one shot, so we're not too concerned. Hello,Here's my dilemma and want some perspective please.I have 5 streams currently that are the introduction to my nurture program they are segmented based on job title. As the next phase I want to go into industry, however curious what is the better approach:After the initial 5 streams should I create a transition rule that triggers based on the last email being delivered then move to the second phase stream that is based on industry of the email subscriber.Or should I create this a different way for example create a whole new stream in addition to the initial 5 streams and factor in industry already and add more emails to the content flowNot sure if I am thinking through all the options and would love some advice on what's the better long-term solution. Eventually in phase three I plan to segment by behavior too.Thanks!

Is there a way to capture the event when a person clicks inside or starts to input a marketo form field, so that I can build a trigger and tag based on this in GTM? Recently, GA4 Enhanced Measurement introduced form submissions events, one of which is "form_start" that triggers when someone actually starts filling out the form. This is what I would like to mimic for our marketo forms. However, the form listener cHTML code that I have (which I've snagged from this community), does not include any event as such. The closest I could get was mkto.form.ready, but that isn't quite right. So does anyone know if there is anything that can be added to the form listener to capture that very first form interaction?

Hi everyone! I am trying to measure my engagement program (that has been run for 1 month) performance by comparing the change of behavior/person score of all my audiences. To do that, I`ll need to know what is their initial score (which is 1 month ago) and comparing it against their current score.   UNFORTUNATELY, I had forgotten to output their initial score... Are there any ways that we can trace back their initial score using any filters? Thanks in advance!!!

Hello,   We have different smart campaigns set up to notify our sales teams when someone fills out a form on our website. The way we have them set up currently is working fairly well, for the most part. There have just been some occasions where the lead hasn't finished syncing to SFDC yet, and it sends out the notification to "API User" instead of the Sales Owner with a Lead Owner of "Marketo Sync". We want to avoid that from happening. I was hoping someone might have some insight as to how to account for that and only send out the alert after it's done syncing to SFDC and been assigned to a rep, other than just adding more time in the wait steps? Also, if you have any suggestions on how we can improve ours based on best practices, please let me know. There is always room for improvement. By default, when a form is submitted, Marketo looks up the system Email Address field (the form field named Email ) and merges the submitted values into an existing Person record, if there is one.[1]   If the address is not found, a new Person is created.   The default behavior is desirable in the vast majority of cases. But for specific forms, you may want each submission to result in a brand new Marketo Person. This may not be a marketing-driven request, but sales-driven: for example, a new CRM Lead can be worked separately by sales instead of merging with the Contact.   Tweaking the behavior is almost shockingly easy (at least compared to how many people assume the default can’t be avoided!).   Show a secondary Email type field on the form, like Email Address Proxy, instead of the system field. What is the best approach, is it just letting salesforce sync the data with new instance or migrating data from Marketo to Another Marketo and then turn on the salesforce sync?    

Hi, My team has sent a few emails recently and we tried to track the number of people that the email was delivered to. The email was sent on 11th Aug 2022. When I look at the email activity in the result tab of my batch campaign, there is no recorded activity. I can only see click and open. I reckoned it has something to do with the marketo data retention policy where email-delivered and sent activities are only stored for 90 days?   But I checked for my other emails that was sent in October, 2021, there is still email-delivered activities recorded for only 4 contacts in the results tab, but not everyone in the list. Hello,    I  have a batch email program that I haven't deployed yet that seems to be telling me a large number of emails will be blocked, according to the Audience area of the dashboard.  However, my email is set to operational.  Will the program actually block these 5,110 emails once it launches?      

Hello all, I have scoured the {{trigger.web page}} token discussions and haven't been able to find an answer to my question. I have a form on multiple pages. When the form is completed I use the "Send Alert"  flow step. In the email for that alert, I would like to use the token to populate the url the form was completed on. That seems to be the purpose of the token, but the token does not show up in the email editor for me. Any help would be appreciated!   

OK, I've been reading through all of the material on these posts, but I seem to be missing one piece.  Context: we created a custom object for appointments, and one of the fields is appointment date, which is of type datetime.  In the REST API calls, we post the appointment date in the following format:   2022-12-03T12:00:00-08:00   In going to the test lead and looking at the custom objects, I see that the date is being stored correctly and adjusting it's display to match the timezone preference of my account in Marketo admin (PT but switching to other TZs in my account adjusts accordingly): Cool, all good.  Now I've created a campaign triggered on an appointment add.  All good there.  I created a token for the date and time, and here's the time token definition: #set( $dateOptions = { "formats" : { "userin" : "yyyy-MM-dd HH:mm:ss", "userout" : "hh:mm a z" }, "timezones" : { "userin" : "America/Los_Angeles", "userout" : "Ameri

Do we have any alternative for dataLayer.push? we don't use data layer in our pages. So, we need any alternate solution to push event and formId to GA.  

We would like to automate an email to send each day to those who had a certain activity exactly 20 days ago (in this case, their trial ended exactly 20 days ago, which throws them into a new lifecycle stage - so there is a data value change we can filter on).As far as I can tell, there is not a way to do this with the filter constraints, as if I were to use an exact day (is) then I cannot automate it, and if I use "in past" then I include more than I want to. This is not something that we have time to develop - we need a fast fix. Long term, I would add this into the general communication flow and make use of wait steps, but we don't have time for that right now. Any suggestions, solutions, hacks?

Hi,   I'm analysing my email campaign performance report from July 2021 to date (15th Nov). I created email performance report by filtering the necessary program to the region and business unit that I'm interested in. I also filter the email send data to be 1st July 21 - 15th Nov 22.  I randomly compared the performance of one of the emails in the email performance report and revenue explorer report, where I noticed that there is a huge discrepancy between the number of sent, delivered, and clicks between these two reports for this particular email. Hi all,I'm relatively new to Marketo and would be most appreciative for your assistance. I am looking to turn an engagement program off by using the following steps Turn an Engagement Program On and Off It is my understanding what when change the program status to 'Off' then all emails will cease.  My main query revolves around what happens when it is turned on again. I have a campaign that has 15 emails over three streams.  When the program turns on again, will; - All existing members of the campaign will pick up where they left off and receive the next email in their journey?  They will not go back to the start of receive an email a second time? - All new eligible people will enter the campaign the next run of the entry smart campaign and start at email 1 when the flow dictates? Hi Marketo community,   I have an issue with a hidden form submission after refusing cookie usage (GDPR). If the visitor chooses to reject cookies or do not activate it through the setting parameters console, our Marketo form renders fine, but the data is not submitted when we trigger the submit button. In our case, we have a form validation script which allows (or not) to validate the form upstream if all the fields are correctly filled. Hi, I am trying to perform initial field mapping and I have fields on the lead/account level that Marketo does not seem to want to allow me to map together "Fields cannot be mapped".     I see that there are account & lead fields that are mapped together to a marketo field such as with "Industry", "website", etc...    I have a number of fields that are crucial to our business that need to be mapped the same way. Thoughts?

Hi All, I ran the A/B Testing on whole email. However, didn't choose any winner criteria because I have tested it on 100% audience. But in the final report Marketo has declared an email as winner with winning criteria as Clicks.    In the report, it is showing equal clicks against both the emails. Below is the dashboard view. Can anyone please let me know the reason behind this? Thanks.
