My old Marketo instance was decommissioned and the redirects from that subdomain to my new one are no longer working. Can I point the old subdomain CNAME to my new instance and set that up as a second one in my new instance so I can create the redirects from old URLs to my new ones?

Hi Team,I wanted to check the feasibility of adding an email mirror/preview link/asset link from Marketo into our reporting in Tableau.Currently, we use Tableau for marketing reporting, with activity data pulled daily from Marketo via API into our data warehouse. This data is then used to report on tableau along with additional metrics such as opportunities generated, leads generated, and other KPIs based on our business logic.We now have a requirement to include a mirror link, preview link, or email asset link for the email so it can be reported alongside performance metrics in Tableau. The goal is to allow users to easily click the link and open the email to review its content. This would help us analyze top-performing emails over a given period and understand what contributed to their performance, so those learnings can be applied to future campaigns.Could you please advise if it’s feasible to extract and pass any of these email links from Marketo to our data warehouse via API and d

Hi Team,I wanted to check on two items related to our upcoming A/B testing plans in Adobe Marketo Engage:1. A/B Testing ApproachCurrently, we use a single Email Program for our batch and blast campaigns. Each campaign is a monthly series with 4 to 6 emails, and we have separate Smart Campaigns set up to send each email. At the moment, these are standard sends without A/B testing. Going forward, we would like to run A/B tests for each email in the series (for example, 4 or 6 A/B tests within the same campaign). From what I understand, the out-of-the-box A/B testing functionality within an Email Program allows only one A/B test per program. If we want to run multiple A/B tests, one option might be to use Smart Campaigns and manage the test and winner selection manually. Please let me know if my understanding is correct?  I also wanted to check if there have been any recent updates or enhancements that allow multiple A/B tests within a single Email Program using the native functionality,

I am working on a new template, and I have run into an issue. I want to create a 2x2 section in the template, but when I set the background image, it spans the whole page. I just want it behind the two columns, not the whole page. Here is what it looks like.I can't see a way to make the background image just behind the two columns. I tried all the background size images.

Hi everyone, I’m looking for best practice guidance on setting up UTM capture properly in Marketo. Our current flow looks like:Paid ads → corporate website (UTMs present in query string) Corporate website has Munchkin and GA installed. Users then click through to a Marketo landing page that contains the inquiry form.  We do not currently use a CRM. We can see that UTMs sometimes appear in the Marketo landing page URL as query parameters, but we do not currently have hidden fields or structured UTM capture set up in the form. I have several smart campaigns set up to run monthly and one-time sends that do a send, wait, resend. The email reports only reflect the FIRST send, NOT the resends. Does anyone know if there is a way to get one of the reports to accurately show the number of true sends?

Hi everyone,I’m trying to approve a Marketo Landing Page draft via the REST Asset API and I’m running into a strange issue.When I call:POST /rest/asset/v1/landingPage/{id}/approveDraft.jsonthe module returns [null] (and sometimes a DataError), and the landing page remains in status: "draft". There is no visible error message returned in the middleware I’m using. What makes this confusing is that other endpoints work perfectly in the same scenario. I can retrieve the landing page (GET /landingPage/{id}.json), confirm that a draft exists (GET ...?status=draft), and I can successfully call unapprove.json on the same landing page. Hi Everyone,I am encountering an issue when creating a background images section using the new drag-and-drop Email Editor. If I use the Drag-and-Drop option, the background image is not visible in Outlook clients. However, if I create it using custom HTML, everything works fine, but I cannot change the background image externally; there is no variable or option in the window. I have to modify it directly within the custom HTML, which is quite difficult for a non-technical person.Do we have any workaround for this?

However, we’re planning to use ZeroBounce to re-validate those email addresses after a defined period (for example, after several months of being ineligible).ZeroBounce provides results such as valid, invalid, and catch-all. Hi Team,We have set up a smart campaign where the initial launch email is sent, followed by a wait step of X days, and then an echo email is sent to non-openers.In case we need to stop the echo email after the initial send — for example, if plans change while contacts are still in the wait step — what would be the correct way to prevent the echo email from sending? Hi Team,I wanted to confirm the best approach for sharing audience counts with stakeholders before an email launch.Our subscription lists contain multiple contacts with the same email address. While Marketo automatically handles duplicates at the time of send, we want to report the accurate unique email count in advance. For example, if a list has 50,000 records and 2,500 duplicate email addresses, the actual send count would be 47,500.Currently, I’m exporting the list and removing duplicates manually in Excel, but I’m looking for a way to get the unique email count directly within Marketo. I tried using the “Duplicate Fields by Email Address” filter, but it returns all records associated with duplicates, not the net duplicate count.Could you please suggest the most efficient way to get the unique email count in Marketo with minimal manual effort?Thanks,Akshat  

My company resides in the U.S., however, we are headquartered in Japan. Both regions currently share one Marketo instance. I just created my first email in Marketo and while everything looked fine in the Preview, when I sent a sample email to myself, there seems to be a global footer (in Japanese) that appeared.  Again, this footer is not in the Preview area of the email nor anywhere while I was creating it. Does our team in Japan need to remove it or is there a way for me to do so? Thanks!

I created two versions of the same email: One using the old editor, built from my own custom template with HTML compiled from MJML One using the new WYSIWYG Email Designer The version built in the old editor is roughly half the size of the new one. With the new editor, I’m constantly hitting Gmail’s 100 KB clipping limit and having emails cut off, even when the visible content is minimal.What’s especially confusing is fragment behavior. When I update a fragment to delete content, the email actually gets larger, sometimes by 30 KB or more. From what I can tell, fragment updates are appending duplicate CSS and redundant markup instead of removing it.I’ve seen mentions that the old editor may be sunset in 2026, and I’m about to build a new nurture program. I’m concerned about being forced onto the new editor when it’s already difficult to keep emails under Gmail’s size limit.Am I missing something here, or are others seeing the same behavior with the new editor?
