Adobe Journey Optimizer

Hi,I’m struggling to get an accurate count of customers who actually received a specific journey message. I tried creating an audience using the journey version ID or journey action ID, but the numbers are always wrong. I was told this happens because if the journey has multiple comms (e.g., 2 emails + 3 SMS), customers who receive more than one get counted multiple times.I’m working with both one-off campaigns and journeys that trigger regularly (e.g., every 15 days), and I just need a clean list of customer IDs who received the communication.Is running a Query Service query against the tracking datasets (email/SMS) really the only reliable way to do this? And is there any way to turn this into a reusable audience in AEP?I have access to SFTP and using that to get csv file..Any advice or examples would be appreciated.

I am working on configuring an Arabic subject line for an email in Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO). When I copy and paste the subject line into the AJO subject field, it does not render correctly and the text order appears altered. The subject line includes a combination of Arabic and English text, numbers, and an emoji/icon. I have attempted to resolve the issue by using HTML and JSON code to enforce right-to-left (RTL) formatting, but these methods have not been effective.Has anyone experienced a similar issue or found a solution for ensuring proper RTL rendering in AJO subject lines that contain mixed languages and symbols? Any guidance would be appreciated.

What is the main difference between Optimize (New Update) and Condition activity in the orchestration in AJO ?We see experimentation in optimize which could have been achieved by percentage split earlier. And Similarly the Targeting Rule path could be created using data source condition.What is the significant difference between these options ?

AJO guardrails of engaging customers upto 90days once they enter in the journey. Is there any hack or work around if customer needs to be engaged for longer period of time ?I m trying to think of converting read audience based journey into trigger based journey so event attributes can be accessed for personalization. However the some of the conditions in audience goes beyond 90 days of their initial event trigger. 

Hi all, We have a live journey which is triggered by a unitary event, and inmeditaley after is followed by a condition activity that checks a couple of profile attributes (to serve as a filter) to only allow Friends&Family profiles to continue the journey.  The issue here is that we're getting HTTP 429 error in the condition, resulting in a big number of profiles being discarded. Do you have any suggestion/explanation on how to resolve this? Here's the condition used  (fictional): (#{ExperiencePlatform.ProfileFieldGroup.profile.customerId} == 'Test-xxx') or(#{ExperiencePlatform.ProfileFieldGroup.profile.customerId} == 'Test-yyy')

Hi everyone, The Web Channel is working when used in Campaigns — I see the message display correctly in my SPA.But when I trigger the same Web Channel via a Journey, nothing appears in the app.I configured a webevent and trigger that event in journey. The profiles are entering into journey but nothing appers in app.I checked with debugger and dev tools , i observed the server is responding but not client.FYIWhat could be causing the message to work in Campaigns but not when coming from a Journey?Any tips or things or I might have missed in the Journey setup? ThanksAJODev  

Hi All,I was trying to copy nodes from 1 journey to another. I was able to do this by selecting required nodes using ctrl+c ( many times ) and then using ctrl +v to paste in the final journey.Its working sometimes( after restarted ) and sometimes not. But when ever I copy I was able to see the json for the copied objects. is it related to browser cache or ajo issue? or how can I resolve this?I was also going through a future improvement where we could save nodes in a journey and then re-use them as needed.Thanks

Can we update throttling setting for multiple end points in Single postman request? Eg : I am calling system A, System B and System C in my journey through custom actions and want to update all in single postman call. Is it possible. if yes, can someone please share sample postman body with multiple endpoints along with official adobe documentation link?

I have a use case where I need to pass a dynamic ID (such as a reward ID) from an email template to an AJO landing page. My goal is for the landing page to use JavaScript to fetch this ID from the URL and personalize the experience accordingly.I understand how to retrieve URL parameters on the landing page using JavaScript. However, I’m having trouble configuring my email template’s anchor tag to include the dynamic reward ID as a parameter in the URL when a recipient clicks the link. Hi everyone,I am working on a use case in Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO) and need some clarification around consent enforcement for transactional emails.Use Case: We want to send transactional emails (e.g., purchase confirmations) to all guests who have completed a transaction and for whom we have valid email addresses. These emails are service-related and not promotional. However, some of these guests may not have explicitly opted in to receive email communications.Question: Is it possible to configure AJO to send transactional emails without enforcing the consent flag—i.e., to send emails to all transacting guests with email addresses, regardless of their marketing consent status?Additional Context:The emails will contain transaction-specific details.We are not using these emails for marketing purposes.We want to ensure compliance with Adobe’s consent policies and best practices.If anyone has experience with this setup or can share some configuration tips, I would really appreciate it

Hi! I would like to know why the widget of Optimized vs non Optimized is not on my Global Report. Does it have some relation to the time zones? I activated the widget for my journey. 

Hi,i created the personalised offer in ode with two representations. one is with placement "A" and another is with placement "B". now both these representations will qualify for the same audience. each representation has a unique content. Now, when i create a decision with two placements, i'll have two encoded decision scopes. these scopes i add it in edge api. considering the edge api body, i'm adding the decision scopes in this way "query": {"personalization": {"decisionScopes": ["decisionscope1","decisionscope2"Now when i hit the edge api. only the decisionscope1 is getting the personalised offer response but for decisionscope2 i see fall back offer. when i change the order of the decisionscopes. i see decisionscope2 returns personalised offer response but decisionscope1 returns fallback one. can any one please help on this??]}}

Hi, I’m currently working on an SMS integration with a custom provider, and they’ve asked me the following: “To proceed with the activation of the instance, we need to know from which IP or domain we’ll receive the requests so we can allow them through our firewall.” Do you know if SMS traffic is actually associated with specific IPs or domains? I’m a bit unsure about how that works in this context.

Any reason why Condition option on the left rails is available for the email subject personalization, but not in the email body personalization ?   

All, I have an In-App Message in my Journey that should "fire" based on a email click. The journey runs and it appears the In-App message runs, but working with my QA team, they are not getting the message. We've checked the trigger, and when we manually run the In-App we can see it in our QA app. However, when it's part of the Journey we're not getting the message. Attached is my Journey and the trigger configuration :Does anyone know if my config is off, or best ways to troubleshoot.   

Hi all, I am creating a url tracking parameter in Marketing Channel surface and want to add the message action name included in journeys.  But I need it to populate in the URL following this format: "em-"  + context.system.source.actionName. When using context.system.source.actionName as is, it will show i.e.: Email+-+ "ActionName". Therefore, I'd need to replace the first part mentioned above (Email+-+) by "em-"  Is it possible to treat this type of contextual attributed at channel surface level? 

Hi all! I'm aware I can use audiences in condition activities inside journeys, but my question is: If I use multiple audiences as part of the same condition node with 'OR', is the performance of the journey lowered? - currently we have a journey started by a unitary event and would like to take out profiles who don't match certain conditions. Appreciate any help, thanks!

I am looking for ways to prevent users from re-entering same journey again. From AJO docs, Incremental load prevents users who have previously qualified; However, if a user's profile changes and they drop out of, then later re-qualify for the audience, they may still re-enter correct?How can we make sure that they never enter the same read audience based journey?

Hi team,We’re exploring how to track and reconcile message feedbacks (delivery, bounce, etc.) with the original API triggered transactional message send requests in Adobe Journey Optimizer.According to the feedback webhook documentation, the webhook payload includes a requestId field, which uniquely identifies the transactional send request.However, when we query the AJO Message Feedback Event Dataset, the field requestId doesn’t seem to appear — even though the rest of the payload closely mirrors the webhook structure. What’s the recommended way to tie a feedback event in the dataset back to the original send request? Would really appreciate guidance or examples on how to correlate feedback dataset records with the original transactional requests.Thanks in advance!

Client is a professional sports team and often has last-minute lists they need to email. They have a stand-alone AJO (no RT-CDP or CDP connected to facilitate real-time audience evaluation). Example use cases could be:1. Same-day ticket purchase there were not capture at data refresh from warehouse, or at ticket-purchase event (configured but limited). 2. Communicatsions that need to go to people not typically in the database - such as family members of players/staff, and/or lists from sales-teams for certains games, our group sales members. We are hoping to receive details on whether list imports and/or real-time evaluation is on the roadmap for stand-alone AJO and highly suggest this functionality as marketing automation platforms fulfill this need. We have provided workarounds to get the client as close as possible, but are looking for input from other users and Adobe team. Any specific details greatly appreciated!

The event has the 'accountNumber' and 'phoneNumber' attributes. Now, I need to find the 'email address' associated with the 'accountNumber' or 'phoneNumber' and send out an email to the user. Account Number is the primary key here. How can we accomplish this within the journey? Thanks in advance.

Hi, I have a question regarding token/API key when configuring a new API Credentials for an SMS custom provider. Here the cURL for sending an SMS (no neccesary to create a token for sending) And then I have this cURL for token: When I go to create the API credential, I have the API KEY option, what should I paste here, in Name = "Bearer" and in API token, the api_key? (based on first image cURL)or should I generate a new token with the jwt option (2nd image cURL) and then adding the authentication parameter in the header?Here the custom payload I need to paste: {"message": "This is test and \n this is a new line","to": "+111111","bypass_optout": True,"sender_id": "SMSto","callback_url": "https://example.com/callback/handler"}I've tried everything and I have failed authentication when trying to send Verification SMS  I'm completly lost about this SMS configuration.
