Adobe Experience Platform

Hi Team,Currently we have three different rules on page load i.e.  one rule sending data to AEP, in that we are setting some eVars , one target rule and other analytics rule through websdk. All these rules are using different schema, but all these rules are causing inflation in the analytics pageviews. So, Is there any solution to reduce  the pageviews. Thanks!!

I have got a problem, do you know what only the highest key in schema hierarchy shows up? Two screenshots for you to understand what I talk about.Of course this column is empty:The particular event as you all know looks like this:

Hi there, is it possible to post data to attributes and/or custom attributes using REST API? If so, is there a specific call that can be used to do this and where would I find this documentation? Is it possible for any examples to be shared?

Hello, "Run  Auditor Tests" is not working in the Adobe Experience Platform Debugger.  An error is displayed immediately.  I there a fix for this?  How can we get to this functionality?

Hello,Please, is there a way to automate the assignment of a unique custom GraphID attribute in Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) whenever data (contact information) about a user/lead/customer is ingested (via API, WebSDK, Mobile SDK, Batch import or any other ingestion method supported by AEP) without requiring a second call from the client? Essentially, like a built-in trigger in a database.Requirements:Check for Existing GraphID:When new data is ingested, automatically check if the resulting graph already has a GraphID attribute.Assign UUID if No GraphID is Found:If there is no GraphID, generate a UUID and assign it as the GraphID attribute within this new unique profile in AEP. This should only occur for brand new unique profiles (graphs), as existing unique profiles (graphs) should already have their own GraphID attribute set, similar to how they have emails and phone numbers, but the GraphID should be a single attribute, not multiples.Goal:Ensure each graph usually has a single, un

I'm looking for a report that shows me for Audience 1, what other audiences is Audience 1 a part of/in the logic for? Audience 1 + Attribute A + Event X = Audience 2Audience 1 + Audience 4 + Attribute 7 = Audience 3 Audience 1 = Audience 2, Audience 3Audience 4 = Audience 3= means "is a part of / is in the logic for"

Hi there, I wanted to ask, if there is any possibility to access cookie values from within Event Forwarding Data Elements Custom Code? As the endpoint is recieving all cookies from the main domain, it would be much easier to get information like Meta Browser-ID or Click-ID. Thanks in advance for your feedback. Best regards,Björn Stickler

Hello everyone,   I have a question about Platform Edge Network and Adobe Launch Server Side License. I already have AA, AT, AEP and AJO in my landscape.  Does Platform Edge Network and Adobe Launch Server Side already available or I need to add this as product lincense? Thanks

Hi guys, I am facing an issue where I cannot seem to receive any YT iFrame media events (iframe src contains the &enablejsapi=1 param, see sample src below). Setupyoutube video is loaded upon click on poster i.e., iframe with src *= youtube is not available before clickusing the "Youtube Playback" extension, https://exchange.adobe.com/apps/ec/104160tried a poster click rule that was not working reliably, saying the iframe was not found by then (did not want to add a delay)instead, opted for a "enters viewport" solution (only as a POC, will be refactored later), just to see if anything is fired at all - which is notSample iFrame sourcesrc="https://www.youtube.com/embed/asdasdadsadsadsadsads?autoplay=0&controls=0&disablekb=1&playsinline=1&cc_load_policy=0&cc_lang_pref=auto&widget_referrer=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.client.com%2Fit%2Fit%2Fadvisors&rel=0&showinfo=0&iv_load_policy=3&modestbranding=1&customControls=true&noCookie=false&

The profiles qualify for an audience in real time in the profile ui , weather streaming evaluation has been selected or the edge evaluation has been selected , so what is the difference between the two ? When a edge segmentation enabled audience is activated to a streaming destination lets say using HTTP API does it reach faster to the endpoint as compared to streaming segmentation enabled audience what difference does it make in terms of data reaching to a destination ?

Hi, I have a theory that I would like to understand if its right before actually trying it out My website has Analytics Extension implemented which uses an old datalayer  say digitalData object & sends data to old report suitesPlan is to add a new datalayer say dData object to the website & use Web SDK to send data to new report suite. But I need to do a transition where for a specific period, I am looking to have Analytics extension in the tags property sending data to old report suites, while I implement Web SDK & create new data elements & rules for it to send data from new datalayer to new report suites through Edge Network. As I don't want to switch off the old implementation abruptly & only have a new implementation running on the site. Is that even possible? Can one tag property have 2 of these extensions (Analytics Ext & Web SDK Ext) that send data to completely different report suites? To enable below flows -Tag Property A-> di

Hi Team,I can see more than expected data in direct marketing channel,We observed that there are hits which set on initial pageload which doesn't have referrer . bascially interaction calls doesn't have referrer and its firing before pagelaod calls. so we are losing referrer before its captured on in our system atleast once.I have ordered all rules, still interaction calls are firing before page load call ? why its happening ?

Hello AEP Community,We're looking to use AEP as the initial step (Lead Quality GATE) when collecting new leads before they are sent to Salesforce. The main benefits we expect from this design are:Utilizing AEP's native capabilities, including Identity Resolution, Partner Cookies (FB, Google, etc), Web SDK, Deduplication, Data Quality, Removal of fake leads (bots), and Stitching.Maintaining a mostly unidirectional flow of lead data. From AEP to Salesforce in NEAR REAL TIME.Has anyone implemented a similar setup? I'd love to hear about your experiences and any tips you might have.P.S.: I've added a simple high-level diagram to explain the idea we're trying to implement. Thanks!

Hi everybody,we have a doubt about Launch implementation best practices. The consulting company that implemented it created a launch property for each of our websites (domain and subdomain) and linked them to each site report suite and a global one. However, we have a new project to centralize them all with the same CMS (now we use multiple ones) for all our sites and create a single portal. Considering this CMS will allow us to develop new landing pages super seamlessly with its own URL, is it better to use a single Launch property for all portal pages (technically each site will have its own dev team and business unit, but for the end user it will have the look and feel of a single portal) and to have a javascript code linking the URLs with the respective report suites or to have a separate launch property for each URL (as we have now)? Thanks in advance

Hi, We are migrating from ACP Mobile SDK to AEP Mobile SDK, and would like to migrate all the trackState/Action calls to sendEvent API. Since there is an extensive data structure defined in the existing Context Data, we are not planning to convert them into the XDM structure on the client side code, and will use sendEvent API to send the existing Context Data instead, and then use Data Prep in Data Stream to map the Context Data fields to the XDM Analytics fields (in this way we can take out all the processing rules in AA). Is the above a good pratice or there's any potential drawbacks? Especially on using sendEvent API to send Context Data instead of XDM. Thanks,John

Hello, i want to tracking pageview on page but because the web made from react the page not refreshed but the url changed, similiar like modal but its not. example: origin url www..../page1 when i klik the button the url changed into www.../page2 but the var wont change if i not open it by new tabs. how to get the var within exsiting flow and get the data from www.../page2. with Adobe LaunchAny suggestion/reference, that will be big help. Thanks in advance

Assuming that there is some business requirement to make a recognized profile expiration - how you tackle this on your projects? Or its not the best practice and Pseudonymous profiles and experience events expiration is enough?

I am uploading data to http streaming api. Payload look like this: The bottom part is not important. I got the error in Monitoring: The identity is not present. The identity is not present. On the screen you see that there is and ECID (its set up as a primary) and email. How to debug this?

Could somebody tell me what is the difference? In documentation there is no much info about that

Hi, Is it possible to add role based email addresses in AJO when sending out emails? As an example, if there is any technical issues we want the user who recieves the email to report using the address abc@techissues.com and if there is direct complaints the user can report to abc@report.com Thanks

I have created a dataflow for ingestion of data into a dataset based on a schema. One of the attributes in the schema is of datatype String. While for most events, this attribute is coming as String from upstream, for certain other events, it is coming as a JSON object. I see that there are warnings in the dataflow run regarding this datatype mismatch. I want to know that in these cases, whether AEP drops the entire event because of this datatype mismatch error or drops only that specific attribute and rest of the data in the event is ingested? What is the default behavior in this case?

Has someone experienced issues with the Log Tool not capturing the interact network request when a new browser tab opens after a button or link click? I have been experiencing this for some link clicks that open in a new browser tab and have not found any explanation and future fix, if any, to this.

Hi Everyone, Currently, we are moving from Adobe Analytics extension to WebSDK and the scenario here is :We do have different websites, applications and functionalities to track which required 4 different properties in Adobe Launch and sending data to different Report Suites.Configured single XDM schema for all the websites, now the suggestion I require is, adding adobe service to the data stream.Do I've to end up creating 4 different data streams for the different report suites ? or Is there a way that I can accommodate all the report suites in a single DataStream. Note : It's not a multisite tagging, and not sending same website data to two different report suites. Thanks for the inputs in advance.

Hi, I have a Record behavior dataset created as a lookup for CJA. The schema is simple, just the default "_id" field as the article ID, the article name and author name. After the initial data upload, we found that there're some mistake on the author name field and thus we have to upload certain records again e.g. Initial upload - (_id:123, name:book1, author:john)Record update upload - (_id:123, name:book1, author:paul) I was expecting the record to be updated based on the _id:123. However, when tried to use Queries for debugging, with the SQL "select * from <lookup_table_name> where _id = 123, it shows both records in the result window. Anyone can share some insights on this? Thanks,John
