Hi I have a question about the possibility to update a certain profile attribute under some conditions.Let's say I have a profile attribute called "Last Touchpoint". If the attribute is populated in the profile, I don't want to overwrite it with the value coming from a batch ingestion for a certain source. In other words, I want the value already in the profile to trump any value coming from a certain source, unless the attribute in the profile is empty, but the data source has value. Can this be achieved? Any suggestions?Thanks.

Hi All, In my source file I noticed conflicting values for a specific attribute  for the same identity and ingested data in the customer profile dataset as shown below:Customer IDGenderLastUpdatedID1Female2025-01-13 12:00:00ID1Male2025-01-13 12:00:00 After fragmentation, in profile store I can see the value updated as "Male" (see below screenshot). I've verified using API and it gives me the same result However, when I created an audience it qualified for "Female" only. I have cross checked the merge policy and its selected as default timebased (see below screenshot)  In my sandbox, I used only default timebased merge policy only. Please help me to understand is there anything that I missed something or how segmentation works?

Hi everyone!We are having issues giving users permissions to view and manage XDM-schemas. We have added relevant users to a product profile on the Adobe Experience Platform Service in the Admin Console, and given all the permissions available to the added users in that profile. We have added the users as both users, admins and developers to that profile but nothing seems to do the trick.Does anyone have any idea what we could be missing? Thank you in advance!// Nina  

Hi,I have a number of profiles in the Real Time Customer Profile in Adobe Experience platform. I also have a dataset/schema for Events (XDM Experience Event) and I loaded some event data for the above profiles. If I go under Profiles and check a few of these profiles I can see the events attached to the profile under the Event tab.I think that I can query the profiles using something like this:select * from profile_snapshot_export_<some_unique_Id> and I can parse the available columns in drill down for any kind of information related to the profile and its Attributes. What I want to also do is to query the events linked to the profile so I can verify any audience I build against the actual numbers in the profile.Something like this:select * from profile_snapshot_export_<some_unique_Id> as t1inner join <Events table> as t2where t1.Attribute1= "Value1"and t2. Hi everyone, Wishing all a delighted new year. I am trying to retrieve the audit logs for the schema to capture the change or update in any existing schema, along with the user details. I am using the audit log URL of the Schema Registry API (1.0),(  https://developer.adobe.com/experience-platform-apis/references/schema-registry/#tag/Audit-log)Although I am getting 200, the response body is null. Hi,We have an embedded hybrid mobile application with ionic framework where we want to integrate the Launch AEP SDK in order to track the app data in analytics. The documentation(https://aep-sdks.gitbook.io/docs/getting-started/get-the-sdk) do not provide any insights in integration for ionic. Can someone please help here?

Hello,Setup: Adobe Analytics using xdm, schema set through code in edit code area JS (btw there are a bunch of warnings in the code ie 'expected identifier and instead saw '=') of AEP WebSDK extension. We are having an issue where a numeric event is not sending values on purchase (number of coupons used in the transaction), talking with experts here seems it should just work. The numeric event is not fired as data layer event but a parameter of purchase and then later turned into an event somehow to be shown in Workspace etc. I should mention that this company is unusually stringent (the most in my career) on access to admin or even testing the purchase path, so I haven't QAd myself, so I can't confirm if the tools are failing or bad setup or CMS related, etc and all I do is try my best with the limited tools and visibility I have. I've read about data object and how it is better so I'm thinking to use it, however would be great to know how to go about using both xdm and

The profile collapse issue happening when more than 150 identities, how to avoid these kind of profile collapse issues, what is the best practices?

I'm trying to figure out how to capture instances of a photo that has been clicked on. That's simple. Where I'm getting lost is the user can also "favorite", "unfavorite", "share" or "more info" the photo. Ideally, I'd like to be able to have one table in CJA workspace present the data in one table, for example: If I can only do it in multiple tables that is fine too. I'm just struggling with how my data layer and XDM schema should capture the data so I can associate the actions to the photos!?!? Any advice greatly appreciated is appreciated.  Thanks!

I have a question regarding the Segment Builder canvas within AEP. I am talking about the Build Rule option, not the Audience Composition canvas.What does the 'Add to form a group' do? In other words, how different is it from using a 'and' condition? Couldn't not find an answer for this in the user guide.

Hi All,I'm capturing info about clicked on names. I'm also capturing info about 4 specific actions that can be associated with a specific name. Here is how this data is pushed:adobeDataLayer.push({ event: "personAction", personInfo: { personName: "Bobby", //mandatory favorited: 0, //non-mandatory unfavorited: 0, //non-mandatory moreInfo: 0, //non-mandatory shared: 0 //non-mandatory } });The thinking behind this is if a someone just clicks on a person's name, all the other properties are zero. This signifies that a name was clicked on by the user. If a user takes any other action, for example favorites a name, then the "favorited" property will have a 1. Only one of the non-mandatory fields will have a 1, at a given time. Here is my question. I want to connect a custom API which is created via Azure API Management (APIM) to AEP. How can I proceed? We do not have an existing API connector for the same. Is there anything like a custom connector similar to Looker Studio where we can proceed programmatically?I have the API endpoint and authorization key. Also, I connected it to Postman and getting the data output successfully. Is there a way where I can connect Postman output to AEP? Earlier I connected the Salesforce CRM connector in AEP and it worked fine. I connected it to CJA as well using Data view and Connections. But how can I proceed in custom API case?

Dear Community I have an IndividualProfile schema. I went on to create a dataset and tried to ingest data into the dataset. There is one field which is string in my CSV file in which I want to convert to DATETIME in AEP. During ingestion, I have used a calculated field to calculate the string data into DATETIME. It shows there was no error but the data that was shown came out to be blank. Please guide me into resolving this and being able to ingest String into DATETIME. Hi,We need to connect to a third-party web socket to have continuous data flow, and that data needs to integrate with one of the Adobe Experience Platform journeys.The WebSocket works with an initialisation; then, we need to subscribe to it. The WebSocket also needs a ping every 3 seconds to keep the subscription alive. Prior to initialisation, there is an Auth call to get the Token, which is later required for the above processes of WebSocket.We already developed a middleware that is in continuous integration with the WebSocket. It gets data as it is subscribed and pushes that data to Adobe Experience Platform using HTTPS service (using collectionID and flowID).However, the requirement has changed, and it requires removing the middleware and getting data directly from Websocket to the Experience Platform collection journey.We reviewed a couple of documents regarding this requirement but could not find any. I'm trying to find someone ASAP to help me get up to speed on using the ACDL and to get the data into Tags/XDM. I have experience with populating XDM using update variable and data elements etc. but I need to understand better how to create and consume and map the data in Tags, when using an EDDL. Hello Community Members,   We are looking to configure a Time-to-Live (TTL) for pseudo-anonymous profiles based on multiple identity attributes. Proposed Logic: If a customer has any identity beyond Device ID, ECID, Email_LC_SHA256, or Phone_SHA256, their profile should not be deleted. However, if a profile contains only these four identities in any combination, it will be considered anonymous and subject to deletion after 90 days of inactivity. When I say "combination," I mean any permutation of the four identities. Example Scenarios: A profile with only ECID → Deleted after 90 days of inactivity. A profile with Email_LC_SHA256 and ECID → Deleted after 90 days of inactivity. A profile with Email_LC_SHA256, Device ID, and ECID → Deleted after 90 days of inactivity.
