Hi,I have created a data layer which has an event information. Refer the below screen shot:So, for every event tracking, I want to use below code:And then I can create a Direct Call Rule for 'Learn More event', which would send the event info to Analytics.I am very much particular about using a data layer for every metadata information (including events), Wanted to know how relevant it will be if we can store the event information in data layer and later can use push method for updating those events rather than using an Event Based Rule mapped with html tags of the page ?I am very new to DTM, just wanted to know the best approach for event tracking using DTM. I have been stuck here since long in identifying an ideal approach for Event Tracking using DTM, but looks like, none of the available docs talks about best practices ofEvent Tracking.Your help is appreciated!Thanks,

We will soon start using the Mobile Services acquisition links and I understand it sets multiple properties in the app e.g. a.referrer.campaign.trackingcode (https://marketing.adobe.com/resources/help/en_US/mobile/android/metrics.html) What is the best way for a native app to retrieve the value so it can be manipulated, passed to our database, to webview (we have a hybrid app) etc.?

I have a request to add some tracking script in the middle of the page. This will show up as a widget in the page. We have an option to add the script in DTM either at the top or bottom. But is there a way we can add the script at the middle of the page as per our requirement. Please let me know. 

I have created a new property in DTM. Added header and footer code from DTM in the new website. I am using adobe's s_code version which i have set in the property. When I created a page load rule for custom tracking of the navigation it says "Uncaught Reference Error" s is not defined.The page load rule that i have added is //links tracking$("a.top-nav-link").click(function() { _satellite.notify('top nav clicked'); var tophatlinks = "ntap:TH:" + $(this).text(); s.eVar14 = tophatlinks; s.linkTrackVars = "eVar14"; s.tl(this,'o'); });But If i use event based rule it works and doesn't give the error. Since I have to use many click events I thought of adding one page rule and add all the custom tracking there. But this is not working. Any thoughts?

Hi team,We have implemented custom tracking for the www.netapp.com top navigation. When we click on the top navigation the custom call is being aborted. Can you please let me know the reason?1, Go to http://www.netapp.com/us2. click on netapp.com/support/community links on the top3. you can see the custom tracking is aborted4. Hi,I am trying to use my Analytics segments as audiences for target activities, and the content is not delivered correctly, only showing default experiences. In Analytics, the segment builder and related reports are working fine, so I guess the problem is not between AEM and Analytics.This may be related: when I use Analytics as reporting source for Target Activities, there is always a problem with the synchronization ("Your updates did not publish  to Adobe's delivery network").Thanks in advance

Hi,I want to fire an event based rule if anyone clicks on the Enter key(keyboard) to get the search results. Anyone successfully created event based rule with keypress "event type". I tried muliple options but rule is not working. Can someone help me on this. Thanks in advance

Hi,I was trying to publish my analityc segment to the AMC (target in particular) and I can not see the button "Publish to Marketing cloud" in the Adobe Analytic Segment Manager, I found in the doc that I need to enable my report suite for the Marketing Cloud (you can see the attached image). Our site has multiple languages, including Chinese Traditional and Chinese Simplified.  I have a site for Taiwan which is suppose to be using Chinese Traditional, but it keeps using the Dictionary entries for Chinese Simplified.  How can I specify which language to use from the dictionary?

Good morning,I am trying to obtain data on blog metrics, namely the number of engagements obtained - ie, number of shares, tweets and posts. I am personally new to the platform so I am not aware if this is a feature that used to work – however, when trying to obtain engagement figures for our Cisco blogs, it displays a 0% value over the course of a year. The option I am using is Report> Pages> blogs> Metrics / advance metrics> Engagement/ Engagement score.Is it possible to get these figures at all or is there a better way of doing it?Thanks, Ana 

I have used SiteCatalyst for years, but now am responsible for implementing the tracking/tagging as well. I have no programming background. What would be good topics to research in order to have enough knowledge and understanding to be able to tell my developers what I need to have on a page so that I can set up tracking in DTM? Do I need to get more familiar with JavaScript or ??For example, we have a form that has 5 steps, however the page does not change with steps. I'm trying to figure out how to track form abandonment when there is no trigger to a new page.Thanks in advance!

I had a request to add Google tag manager to our website and i added it using Dynamic Tag Manage (DTM). I created a page load rule and added this script. But my client is saying it is not working as DTM adds the code to the page with an Iframe. Is there a way we can fix this issue?Regards,Vidya

I have created 3 different event based rule in a page to track 3 different buttons in a page. When i click on the 1st link it is fine. But when the 2nd link is clicked it fires 2 times with the value i set for the 1st button and the current button. When i click the 3rd button it fires again 2 times with the previous click event and the present one. Can you please let me know how to stop this? It is very urgent as this has to go live today. Quick reply is greatly appreciated.

We already use Adobe Dynamic Tag Management for different campaigns. My question is, is there a way to compress JavaScript online in AdobeDTM.As a customer loads from his own browser, the whole JavaScript is loaded. I noticed this week that there is a long delay when I do a DTM implementation and the time it takes for the Adobe DTM Switch staging to work. Normally I would be able to check updates or changes immediately using the debugger. As of this week, if I implemented some tracking during the day and turned on the debugger, nothing would register in the developer console. What happens now is the updates I made during the day would finally show-up in the developer console in the evening. Why is there a time lag now? Is there an alternative solution? Thank you, Bill
