can't save the document back to its original file fotmat.

I am using Photoshop 2015cc, I download mock-up form internet and when I put my file in smart object layer then it says this message."can't save the document back to its original file format.Flatten layers and discard extra data as necessary then chose file > Save again."

I am tried to many things on it, but after that mockup is use less for me.
