Greetings,Recently we have had some issues with bad actors flooding our systems with calls in registration and rememberPass pages, the call we make for this processes to an external api goes through our java using servlets, and we were wondering, how can we stop flooding requests to our servlets through botting or other malicious means.Filtering through domain does not seem very good since you can just fake that in the call. Using cors does not seem ideal aswell since you can tamper with that header. Maybe the cors header in dispatcher, some kind of check through the ResourceResolver?We will appreciate any recommendation on how to deal with this issue Best Regards,Daniel

Wondering if AEM Sites (cloud services edition) has check-in/check-out capabilities to prevent multiple editors from overwriting changes to a content page.  When a page is opened in edit mode or properties are opened, is there any concept of locking that page to prevent someone else from opening and modifying at the same time?  Since there are no explicit "saves" of the page, what happens if 2 editors both have a content page open for editing?  Thanks.

In AEM as a Cloud Service with Adobe-managed Akamai, I’m triggering a CDN purge for specific paths right after activating content to publish.Occasionally, users get 404s or stale content for a few seconds to minutes, which suggests a race condition where the CDN purge happens before the newly published content is fully available on all publish instances.What’s the best practice to ensure that a purge request to the CDN happens only after all publish instances are serving the updated content?

Hi everyone,I am checking https://status.adobe.com/ under Experience Cloud - Adobe Experience Manager, and everything shows as green, meaning “all services operating normally”However, our team is noticing sluggish performance and occasional downtime over the past few days. We have confirmed this isn't due to our local network or browser issues.Has anyone else observed similar symptoms while the status page reads as operational? What is the best way to proceed? Should we monitor via Adobe’s Status API, or submit a ticket/change subscription settings? Appreciate any guidance or best practices.thanks!

Hi all, We added some secret environment variables in AEM Cloud. And we configured them in our OSGI configurations like below.{ "api-key":"$[secret:SECRET_VAR_NAME]" }My question is how can we get this secret value in a service? Do we need to treat this value "$[secret:SERVER_API_KEY]" as a placeholder and resolve it by ourselves?  Thanks,Mengsha

I'm trying to run a downloads report out of the Brand Portal that shows what was downloaded, by whom, and when. I'm able to capture the what and whom but have not been able. to find out how to add when? Does anyone know how to get that data point?

We have built a taxonomy in our AEM DAM. Our current setup is using a namespace to bucket all of these tags as a top level bucket. Under that we have buiolt out the tag structure for the rest of our taxonomy, however, the first level of those tags is a category which pairs up to a custom field used for search. So these would technically be "buckets" as well. Is there a way to set these up as namespaces as well but have them be children of the overarching namespace for our organization? It'll be so much cleaner if we can have all of our tags in one place at t he top instead of spread out among 20 or 30 separate namespaces at the root level.

Hi Community, Has anyone here used ACS Commons Sitemap Generator for AEM in a production setup? We are evaluating options for generating sitemaps in our AEM as a Cloud Service project. I know ACS Commons has a sitemap generation feature, but I have also seen that AEM now provides OOTB (out-of-the-box) sitemap generation in recent versions. For those who have tried both, what’s your recommendation? Any pros/cons I should be aware of before deciding?

In my project I have to publish large amount of assets. So I enabled Batch Publishing option for my replication Agent so that it will create  batch of request instead of replicating assets individually. But the problem is when I replicate asset by calling replicator API from my servlet and provide it list of path. It is creating the batch request for each path I have passed to it Instead of clubbing all paths in one request as you can see it   I want to know whether it is expected behaviour or am I miss understood something . I have tried to pass 1100 paths to test this functionality and it is taking longer time to complete

Hi, on my project we are migrating from an existing portal to AEM cloud.The current portal interfaces with a database to retrieve a series of data which is then printed on pages of the site. Currently, the Mybatis framework is used to interact with the database (the current portal does not run in AEM).In Aem, is it not possible to use Mybatis?what is recommended instead?JDBC?Thanks all!

I have a repo A which has /apps/abc and I also have one more repo B which is having /apps/xyz. When I deploy a repo A code using cloud manager pipeline and it deploys the code /apps/abc and then when I deploy repo B, it removes /apps/abc and deploy only /apps/xyz.  I checked the filter.xml and found that it does not have any mode so hence I added mode = merge but even after mode is merge it still overrides the othersRepo A<filter root="/apps/abc" mode="merge" /> Repo B<filter root="/apps/xyz" mode="merge" /> Note - I don't have this issue in my local AEM. I keep deploying these two repos and I don't see this issue at all. It is happening only in AEM cloud instances.

Hi All,I’m working on a customization where the setRollUpImage method in our component is responsible for setting an image path. Currently, it works for most cases, but in some situations rollUpImage is null because the primary source doesn’t return a value.I want to add a fallback so that if the current logic doesn’t return a valid image, it should use delegate.getSrc() instead - without affecting the existing functionality.What’s the best way to modify the method so it still respects the current logic but adds this fallback?

Hi, I have created a workflow model with a "Deactivate Page" step only and while running this i am getting "Process Resource null" error.I have also tried another step "Create page Version" and still getting the same error response.I have checked "com.day.cq.wcm.workflow" bundle and "create version" component both are active and my workflow model is in sync.Any suggestion how to solve it?Work Flow Error:Work Flow Model:
