Hello Team, In my AEM component, Author can add 2 Video URL(DAM path) for desktop version, mobile version. Then I am displaying the video as mentioned below. Front end developer is hiding the video class based on some condition. Hi,I've created a form on page with some input fields & submit button. It's more like HTML form. There's a servlet that accepts the data in Json format & processes it in backend. Now, I want to create a service/model that will get invoke when submit button is clicked & it should take the values from each input field available on page convert it to json & post to servlet.I'm able to achieve this by JavaScript but business demands the same via backend.Can anyone please help me accomplish this by sharing any reference or code snippets that I could leverage.Thanks,sesmic

Hi Everyone, I would like to take some recommendations and best practices wrt AEM internal groups and LDAP groups mapping & permission management. We have AEM and LDAP groups setup in our project, both internal and LDAP groups are named identical. We are on AEM 6.5 and using ACL Netcentric to maintain the permissions. Below is one of the sample config we have with the yaml file. - aem-publishers-myapp-gb: - name: MyApp Publishers GB isMemberOf: aem-common-myapp path: myapp/gb externalId: "CN=aem-publishers-myapp-gb,OU=xxxx,OU=xxxx,OU=xxxx,OU=xxxx,DC=xxxx,DC=COM;XXXX" Is it recommended to both the internal and LDAP groups identical name?Are there any known limitation with this kind of setup?Would it be advised to have the unique names among AEM internal and LDAP?We are currently facing some issues when a LDAP group details got updated and then users either lost permissions or unable to login to AEM, where the log throws this group already exists in AEM.

Hi All, I have written one custom jQuery for my Customized Content Fragment. I'm using AEM 6.5. I'm using editable templates to configure the initial load of the list of mandatory components inside a form container in the page. But when I try to reorder the components once the page is loaded. I'm not able to drag or reorder between these components.Moreover, there are cq:editconfig and cq:actions which are updated in each of the components to allow the necessary actions.Still nothing seems to be working.Kindly help me out on the same. ThanksSHYAM SUNDAR TK

Hi Team,I have some doubt, so I have content path (/content/my-project) under which I have to count the number of pages which uses a particular template. Under content path we have some sub sections like /content/my-project    - /content/my-project/images    - /content/my-project/propertyimages    - /content/my-project/siteimages  and each sub section contains thousands-millions of pages. We have an AEM service that needs to integrate with an azure keystore.  The Azure java libraries aren't OSGI packages and I haven't been able to get them to work wrapping them myself, likely because their dependency tree is just huge.  Anyone else been down this road before and can they offer any advice?

Is there a proper way to control the workflow models? For example, let's say I have workflow model and I want to make sure its stored somewhere so that if something happens, an author doesn't have to recreate it. However, it also needs to be easy to make edits if needed, and the files in crx for workflows are extremely difficult to work with. I can think of a few options:1. Store all workflow model files in codeEverything is controlledMakes it difficult to make edits2. Create a content package and store the .zip in our repositoryEasy to make editsI have to remember to rebuild the package when an edit is madeWhat if another author makes an edit and doesn't tell me?3. Hi Team, For serving video from dam, in our component we are using: <source src="${properties.myVideoURL @ context='unsafe'}" type="video/mp4">Page is taking much time to load the page, because of loading the video from DAM location.We are not using any video streaming service. So, wanted to check, whether AEM offers streaming service to serve video from DAM ?Thanks

What part of a page build do I need to populate to ensure that there is a thumbnail image available for a link preview on social media (such as LinkedIn)? In the "Images" tab of a page template, I see "Featured image" and "Thumbnail" - do these both need to have an image in them?

Hello All, Core button component Link field is of type: granite/ui/components/coral/foundation/include When we author button path it only shows content pages like below: We have a requirement to show both content and DAM path here. I tried adding jcr property nodeTypes="dam:Asset, nt:file, cq:Page" to link field but its not working. I saw Richtext component pathfield shows both content and DAM path as below: We want something like this. Is this possible in Core Button v2 component?

I'm trying to use the AEM Core Form container using a proxy component. I am able to author the container in AEM, and when I check CRXDE's content for the page, all of my entered info is in the JCR as it should be.  However, the values in the JCR are not being passed to my Angular component. When I log all the values that should be getting passed through, I just get undefined for all of them. Not a single value is passed.   I've tried multiple things, making sure angular component is mapping to the right path using MapTo in the Angular component, full re-install of AEM, checked the template and component policies, re-installed the core components in the package manager, etc.   As a test, I created proxy components of the AEM Core Form Text and Core Form Button without defining my own Java class, similar to the container component that isn't working, and that stores values in the JCR and passes them to Angular and logs them in the console no problem.  However, when I

Hi Team, I have requirement in ACS Commons Reports, where I am passing a dropdown in search parameters which contains different templates but in result parameters, I need to make columns dynamic. I have a Use case where I need to let the Aem authors show a warning that If any other author is editing the same page in Classic UI at component level , Like if "John" is editing text component, We need to let other authors show the warning that if they are trying to edit the same component in the same page, like a popup dialog ,That john is editing this page,  Do you still want to proceed, If they click yes, they can edit, if they click no they can't edit. Looking for ideas and suggestions other than locking the page if anyone implemented this logic in their projects. Thanks in advance.
