Hi Team Current we are using the AEM Forms Add-on (AEM6.5.17). its purely adaptive forms projects . Please advise whether we can use Core Component to leverage the JSON Exporter for Content Services Instead of Forms Component which are not JSON Exporter . RegardsVara   

HiI have created a simple demo to illustrate the use case of starting with an adaptive form. Then you realize you are not able to complete the form online, so you download a PDF version of the form to be filled in offline mode using Acrobat/ReaderTo submit the form, you get back to the Adaptive Form and import the PDF to populate the Adaptive Form with the data from the PDF. Let me know what you think of this use case. Hello everybody,We try to create adaptive form fragment (table) as lazy loading due to a large amount of data.Creating section with a table as fragment works ok, but after checking Load fragment lazilythe table is never populated. Can somebody help ?  (AEM 6.5 JEE)Regards Jiri

I'm trying to Lazy Load the fragments on my form, but the data tables are not displaying the data. All the data cells are blank. All fields have been set as GlobalAccording to the guides I need to implement:Use panel reset feature to reset everything visible on the panel by using the following click expression.guideBridge.resolveNode(guideBridge.getFocus({“focusOption”: “navigablePanel”})).resetData()Where do I trigger this? The panel with the fragment that has the lazy loading doesn't have a 'on-click' option in the rules.Do I simply copy this into the "initialize" rule? This doesn't help, the data still does not display.There is a previous question like this that doesn't have an answer (no I cannot test it with a later service pack). I am really desperate. The client is refusing to even start testing as the form takes too long to load.

Hello, I developed a new Appointment component which is a combination of { Calendar + DropDown + Radio group }. May I know how does guideBridge derives the properties of this component on an Adaptive form.For Example : Currently the component's validation (or) value properties are only considering the "Calendar's" section of the component (may be since I developed this component based on the existing Calendar component.) So how can I make the guideBridge object maintain the data of this component as 1. Value : to be a combination of all three widget.2. Validation : to be considered as valid only when all 3 widgets are filled.

It appears that Wizard Layout allows to create Multi-Step forms in Adaptive Forms. Is it possible to leverage Adaptive Forms for dynamically generating PDFs based on input from a Multi-Step Form? If so, kindly provide the steps for generating PDFs. 

Hi All,We are currently experiencing a peculiar issue with HTML5 form rendering.When attempting to render an XDP as HTML, it appears to go into a continuous loading loop and fails to display the form. Strangely, this issue only occurs in our AMS environment, whereas it works correctly when we attempt the same operation on our local 6.5 environment.Additionally, the "Preview as HTML" function is also not working in AMS environment. We have already reviewed our configurations and compared them between the AMS and local environments, but have been unable to identify the root cause of this issue.Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter. I have a template that needs one document updated. I need to delete the old form and add the updated form to my existing template.

How can we make a form which will show data saved in draft table and make it edit able by adding edit button in each row and the form must be prefilled when he clicks on edit and click on submit button to submit in final table and if clicks on save then update the draft table i have created all the apis in servlet but stuck with ui part.

In my application, the user fills out a form (Non-AEM) from a different platform. A webservice takes care of submitted data, this data from webservice is given to a PDF form template, then we generate a pdf out of it, which is sent to the user back. Now the AEM form template (We use a pdf template that is uploaded to AEM forms for templatization) that we use, is kind of large in size (more than 3MB, approx. 13 - 15 pages). This form after being filled (end user consumable generated pdf) becomes heavier around (9 - 10 MB). We do not use any custom font apart from Arial and no images. Any heads up as to how do we reduce the form template size?

Good morning everyone 🙂 I was wondering if i could via script, change the name of the PDF file that is created when i use the submit button and it attaches the current PDF into an email. Something like a name + date:: 2023-01-25_FN LN.PDFAnd just in the hopes this helps, i use the following script to fire off the said email:event.target.submitForm({cURL: cEmailURL,cSubmitAs:"PDF",cCharSet:"utf-8"}); Thx again for the help, this would be awesome if its doable. PAtrick  

We have a use case where we have to design a form divided into sub forms , tables(static and dynamic) , nested tables and each section have a different requirement of headers. We can handle continuous tables or sub form header with the help of multiple master pages. But with multiple master pages it creates a space between continuous sections following particular master page style and the new section always start with a new page following other master page style. Is there a way can we start a new master page sections just after end of previous master page sections to remove spaces? Attached a sample explaining the use-case

I have a barcode on the master page that needs to move based on values in the data.  This works perfectly on a content page but the barcode doesn't move on the master page.  I have a couple of forms (developed by someone else) that have content pages that are filled with subforms. When I try to place the barcode on the content page it contends with the subforms and doesn't move at all.  Is there a way to make this work on the master page or get the barcode to "float" over the subforms on the content page?

Hi Team, I am recently working on converting PDF forms developed in  AEM designer to make them HTML5 Compatible. However i am facing issues with the Floating fields.It seems that the values are getting properly assigned to the variables but they are not getting displayed on the form. The same is working with the PDF version but is not working with the HTML5 form.Can someone please guide me through this issue as i am not able to find any solutions for the problem. Thank You

We have a form with about 246 fields on it and we get these errors repeating after line 4880:Invalid append operation: field cannot have a child element of fontThe element [font] has violated its allowable number of occurrences.The fault occurred on line 4881.Invalid append operation: field cannot have a child element of paraThe element [para] has violated its allowable number of occurrences.The fault occurred on line 4882.Invalid append operation: field cannot have a child element of traversalThe element [traversal] has violated its allowable number of occurrences.The fault occurred on line 4886. I am looking for a way to eliminate these errors by grouping on subforms or something.

When i configure to "/content/forms/af/draftsave/demostoreandretrieveformdata.html" then the page redirects but the submit button in the form does not work. Hi everybody,   I have a problem with some pdf forms, specially when these forms are connected to an online database. When I open the form, there is always a pop-up window with this message:   "There is a connection problem with the processing service. Some parts of the form may not work correctly. Please check your internet connection"   I've tried to change the Javascript configuration, but the problem persists. I have this problem only when I open the form with a Mac computer, not with Windows. Could any of you give me some help?   The form is made with LiveCycle Designer.   Thanks!
