Adobe Experience Manager Assets

Upon approval asset in workfront, how do we copy that approved asset into AEM, with all the correct meta data and schema?

We are a customer of AEM Assets, but odly we have 3 environments created that looks exactly like AEM Sites... dev, stage prod.Anyways, how do we enable smart tags to our AEM Assets folders, we want to use Adobe Sensei Smart Tags, but not able to configure or enable it. How would we do this?

Hello All, I am looking for recommendations to read Asset metadata to determine if the asset is AI generated, as an example I have started with Adobe Firefly, it would be good incase it can be expanded to other AI tools which generate similar contents. (Lets keep it to Firefly for now) In reference to this post - https://community.adobe.com/t5/photoshop-ecosystem-discussions/generative-ai-and-metadata/m-p/14682216 I am trying to extract the EXIF data and check for [CBOR] ActionsSoftwareAgent : Adobe FireflyI am using https://github.com/drewnoakes/metadata-extractor library to read the metadata but have not been able to extract any CBOR data. Hi, I guess I have two related questions: 1) When moving assets through folder structure - why are the folders not sorted in alphabetical order? There is not even an option to sort them... The folders are in random order, or are they in the order of date created? 2) Why is the sort by Type not working? The option is not even available. Other sort options seem to work, but the Type. Also - will the DAM understand the order if I start naming folders with 01 xxx, 02 xxx prefixes?  Thanks

@heidi05 , couple of questions 1. Are you using Interactive image component from Dynamic Media? If yes it should work automatically by publishing the image with hotspot.  2. I have a QA environment where the Scene7 configuration is working normally. Hello! We are working on updating a few metadata properties on assets spread through a variety of folders in our DAM. Most metadata properties have been easy to address by replacing asset metadata in bulk using a CSV file; however, we're running into complications with tags. Instead of appending the new tag to these assets, the bulk metadata import replaces the existing tags with the new one. Is there a way to append metadata when using the bulk importer? We regularly use the 'append mode' when bulk editing metadata in one folder, but the assets we're working on are distributed throughout the DAM. Thank you in advance for your thoughts and advice!

when uploading asset to aem cloud through user interface it takes few seconds to get all the images and renditions appear.  Image doesn't appear it shows processing. Sometimes even small files take time, is there a way to speed up the upload of this process 

What metadata field are you using to capture SKU numbers in AEM? We've mapped an xmp field using the 'headline' field to show as sku within AEM but now unable to use same fields for Content Hub configuration. 

Hi - I'm trying to see if I can apply metadata to a folder and then push that metadata to its contentsWe catalog creative projects and the folder metadata is the same for each asset, unless there happens to be a restricted asset inside it. What I want to do is apply the metadata to the project folder (client0000_description) and then push all of that metadata to the included files. Right now, it seems as if we can only batch apply metadata to files that exist in a single folder or select the folders we need to apply the metadata to and then export an excel doc, add in all of the information needed by hand, not even being able to utilize the dropdowns that exist in the system already) and then import that excel. This process takes 4-5x longer than the asset system we've been using.

Hello,  Lets have a scenario building a Brochure with 50 linked images and vector files.As we are using the Adobe Experience Asset Tool now, the option to find the link or multiple links and open them directly from Adobe InDesign in an appropriate program is not available any longer. How do we directly then open this links?From my personal experience opening multiple files is really an issue now. Thanks for supportAleksandar

I have a bulk publishing workflow and would like to add a step to email me when the workflow is complete.I found the "send email upon completion of transient workflow" but it does not seem to work.Could be its not a transient workflow, or I'm missing something in the workflow setup. 

Hello We have a new use case for AEM Assets, 6.5.20.0.  We want to share a Folder OR a Collection of assets to non-aem users for selecting assets by filename.  What is the best way to achieve this?   When we try to share a Collection it still allows the ability to download the renditions, which we do not want. Thank you. Sue

Hello Community, We are using Context Hub for personalization in our project, and we have all the necessary setup in place, including segments, audiences, activities, and configured page properties for Context Hub. Everything is working as expected when we load the page in edit mode and then move to preview mode. We are able to see the targeted content. However, when we load the page in edit mode and then move to targeting mode and go to preview, it does not work and always shows the default content. I have checked the variants information in the teaser, and it does not display the correct information (attached screenshots only show the default content). If I reload the page again, it starts working, and I can see the correct variants information loading. The issue seems to be related to navigating from edit mode to targeting mode and then to preview mode. I have even restarted the com.day.cq.personalization.impl.TargetedContentManagerImpl component. Has a

Hello All I have two different documents (one.txt and two.txt) in same folder with same text. For example, 'Technical details page'And Documents are re-indexed. Backend search query isfulltext = Technical details pagep.offset=0p.limit=-1type=dam:Asset when searched for results. I'm getting only one document. One.txt And when remove type=dam:Asset from above query. Many results are returned and has my two documents. First Query Search Results1. /content/dam/one.text Second Query Search Results1. /content/dam/one.txt2. /content/dam/one.txt/jcr:content/renditions/page/jcr:content/par/text/text-163. /content/dam/two.txt4. /content/dam/two.txt/jcr:content/renditions/page/jcr:content/par/text/text-10 The difference between first search results and second search (removed type=dam:Asset) results is that second query checked inside dam:Asset and returned my results. Questions is: How the first query is able to return one.txt ? why did it not give two

Hi All, We have around 1lakh assets for which we have to import the metadata properties of the assets, using out of the box metadata import we can import only 100 assets at a time, to overcome this we have access to data import tool under ACS AEM Commons on AEMaaCS.   Please let me know the sample .xlsx file to be uploaded and above options to be filled while updating asset metadata properties, let us know if there is any limitations for number of assets metadata properties to be updated at once in a single .xlsx file Thanks,Devi

My customer who use AMS's AEM 6.5 can use the universal editor?I can't find any description about the universal editor nor MSM for Assets in the AEM6.5's online document, but only in AEM as a Claoud Service version. Reuse assets using MSM for Assets  Universal Editor Introduction 

We have created a feature that needs access to each asset's subassets.  But our subassets are not showing up in publish.  We do not have a publish option on the subassets folder.  Treeactivation does not seem to be working either.  And when we ran the subassets through the ActivationModel workflow, they each have an indicator that makes it appear as if they are published, yet they still do not show up in Publish - they all throw 404's.   Is this a bug or is there a way to make subassets available on Publish?

Hi,I would like to make a sorting behavior on 'Processing Status' column in AEM DAM Console. So whenever we are trying to upload an assets in DAM Console then we are good to upload but in few cases we are seeing some assets are showing like 'processing' and 'unProcessed' status in above mentioned column. So to identify actual status of issued assets we are trying to keep sorting on those. So could anyone help me on this behavior in 'Processing Status' column. Regards,Balu.

I have updated to photoshop 26.0 and I have installed the latest version of the Asset Link CEP plugin. However, I am getting an error when I try to open Asset Link. The "Adobe Asset Link" extension could not be loaded because Photoshop was unable to find the JavaScript plug-in." I am opening Photoshop with Rosetta, as Asset Link still doesn't appear in the Plug-ins panel, only in the legacy extensions.Right now the only thing that works in going back to a previous version of Photoshop.

I've done the configuration for Asset Link and AEM Assets and I'm now testing for function. I'm wondering if others are noticing issues with the Plugin not being visible in Photoshop - I actually don't see the Extensions label in my instance. As well I'm unable to checkout Or open files directly from Indesign or Illustrator. Any ideas or feedback regarding this plugin?
