Adobe Experience Manager Assets

We have a need to render webp images on AEM 6.5 Assets. How is it possible ? Firstly thumbnail renditions are not getting for such assets. Secondly a webp plugin could compress and generate .webp.jpg images (which are still JPEGs) and could not generate .webp images.   Problem with .webp.jpg is that firstly its quality compromised w.r.t webp images. Secondly for a browser like IE11 which doesn't have a fallback for webp (in the form of jpg rendering), images won't get rendered that way.   We are looking for *.webp images with thumbnails generated. Any soluion here will help.

Hi, I wanted to capture asset activation event and do some changes. I'm trying using ResourceChangeListener and with property name hints but the event is getting captured for all change events such as image edits. I wanted the event to be captured only on Asset activation. Any help?   @Component(service = ResourceChangeListener.class, property = { ResourceChangeListener.PATHS + "=/content/dam/", ResourceChangeListener.CHANGES + "=CHANGED", ResourceChangeListener.PROPERTY_NAMES_HINT + "=*cq:lastReplicationAction" },   Thanks in advance!

When we are trying to Reprocess Assets, we see the jobs get created (Background Async Jobs), but they just stay in "Queued" status and never start. Is there a way to look at what is happening, some kind of log somewhere, etc.? We've tried deleting the jobs and re-submitting, but we get the same result.

I need to unpublish several (1,000+) assets in AEM Assets to remove them from Brand Portal. I keep getting the message "Not enough rights to manage publication" when I attempt to unpublish a folder containing a large amount of assets.   I am a member of the "administrators" and "admin" groups, and those groups are members of the "workflow-users" group.    I am attempting to follow the instructions in this post: https://experienceleaguecommunities.adobe.com/t5/adobe-experience-manager/how-to-fix-quot-not-enough-rights-to-manage-publications-quot/td-p/389211.    I do not know how to get to the useradmin page mentioned in the post to check the "admin" group privileges.

I want to rename and move an asset through curl there are 700+ assets to work on, can anyone help on the best way to do this one. I want to change the name of these assets like how we get the change of asset when move operation is performed.

Is there an OOTB Bulk approve or reject AEM inbox workflow notifications ? As of now I have to select every inbox workflow notification, click on it to complete/reject etc. As an approver, I get hundreds of review request , sometimes I just need to approve all/reject all.

Hi community, i come to you with a question that was brought to me.Is it possible... to create a rendition setting - Image Preset - that generates a JPG from a specific page within a PDF?Something like this: scene7.com/is/image/Scene7IPSUI/*PDF Filename*$*RenditionName*$size=100&page=21 Or if not dynamic - can it be done with a processing profile?Next level would be to generate JPGs from a InDesign file in the same way.   Thank you in advance, you are great!

Hi,   Our client has asked to enhance the smart tags where they can remove the unwanted tags which added while uploading the image. I know we can select the image and use manage tags to remove the tags from smart tags. Is it possible to remove the smart tags while editing the properties?   Thank you.

Does anyone have this issue?   We upgraded from 6.5.0 to 6.5.14, when i add a tag field into the content fragment model, will show a error in browser console,   and cannot add more tags field

Hi, There is a requirement from client that they want to change the single line text which is used for description to multi line text (Text Area). I see the that multi line text is added in the list of "/libs/dam/gui/coral/components/admin/schemaforms/formbuilder/v2/builditems.jsp" but not showing in the schema fields. Should we enable this field anywhere to show up in schema or create new field? Please help with the process to enable the text area in metadata schema.   Thank you.

Hello 😄 It's me Mario!    Is there a way to set a predefine Folder Metadata Schema?  For instance, we only have one Folder Metadata Schema, and we want this metadata schema to be selected by default when the user creates a folder.   thank you indeed.

Several thumbnail renditions of the original image will be created by the workflow. And once they're published, I can download any of those thumbnail images by adding "/jcr:content/renditions/<thumbnail_name>" to the end of the original file's path.  Example: /content/dam/mysite/images/image_001.jpg/jcr:content/renditions/cq5dam.thumbnail.48.48.png My question is, does the jcr part (the bolded part in the example), except for the file size and extension, always the same for thumbnails of any uploaded image files? Where can I find the rules for generating the thumbnail names?

I have requirement where I have to add the list of custom fields in the default columns list for the asset reports. Those custom columns should be displayed by default once I create a AEM report, so that the user don't have to add the columns manually using custom columns.   Can you provide some approach how this can be achieved?

I want to upload binary image blob to AEM. I know the only way is through Assets API but I am not able to find the right resources to do the same. I would highly appreciate a postman example of doing the same. I tried with this:   with headers as:   But this is failing and so I need some example to do the same. Can someone share some sample examples to do the same through simple curl requests?
