Adobe Analytics

We use Adobe Launch at our company. We have quite a number of dataelements.   However in terms of maintenance we are in need of  a referencing system in Launch. Where are data elements being used (in conditions, extensions, action, …) ? There is no such feature in Launch. The equivalent does exist in AEM for assets, hence the ask whether Launch could provide the same tool.

It would be absolutely awesome to be able to set (metric) Targets and run Target reports in Workspace.We have requirements where we need to show change of the new website performance vs baseline and target metric values.So it would be even better if Target view reports could cater for both baseline and target values.At the moment I’m using static calculated metrics and summary change visualisation (the bullet is not intuitive enough unfortunately ). But in that case I can show the change only for one period of time.I would really like to be able to visualise how metrics compare over a number of periods of time where the baseline value / target fluctuates respectively (eg seasonal changes).

Currenttly in AA we cannot limit the elements shown in a table based on a metric value selection.  It was there in Data Workbench - would like to see that capability in AA.      

Let us at in Reports & Reportlets quickly set our own Level Lines to display on Reports & Dashboards quickly and without having to go through Targets which is too cumbesome currently.  Could be used to show goals, benchmarks, prior time frame levels, all very quickly and easily. Would simply let us set lines at one or more levels as example below: Green = Goal of 740, Blue = Last year avg. 600 Also let us add a few words describing each that would show in the legend below graph too for each line added. Using IDEA: Calculated Metrics with eVars to automatically calculate these Targets, Goals, & Benchmark Volumes or Percents % would be very useful. 

I would like to use my target reports (component -> targets) in Workspaces. Or to see a new improved target/kpi's monitoring feature in Workspaces.Essential functionality when it comes to reporting.

Setting Targets is cumbersome especially for extended periods often preventing their use.  Having to hand enter values one at a time for each day makes this near useless for upkeep, changes, etc. (Sample below) UPDATE: Thanks Adam, and agree I'm still left scratching my head on how the user interface makes sense and issue still stands as not simple to do. How is it that users can be on the screen to "Add / Edit Target" (Picture directly below) and yet NO Where in site is a link to "Import" your data for that target (it's back on the list of Targets screen so not contextual) but instead the only comment/direction that is there only indicates "...enter your target values here." ?? There are still several issues here even with the SAINT like template:Hand entering on the current screen is still a useful need for quickly setting targets - but little sense expecting users to enter same value reptitevly for each day vs. a From-To range - need table like interface where on each row can a) sel

I think that Adobe needs to up their game in the report drill-down features of Workspace. Items that are missing and almost prevent a good workflow to me are:   1) ability to keep all rows in a report with a specific drilldown dimension/segment: there should be a feature to allow drill-down of every row item that appears on the report, automatically.   Example: a report is broken down by day of the month and then by hour. The report is created on 15 October and the report date is set to "this month". As the days of the month go on, the report will add more days of the month, but the days of the month that were added after the report has been configured won't be broken-down by hour. This is a terrible limitation to me.   2) ability to set a specific drill-down configuration to all rows in a report.    Example: a report is broken down by page and then by page url. My website has 100 pages and url variation of those pages don't go beyond 5 urls. Thus, I want to ad

Description - Add the ability to bulk update the recipient list for Alerts Why is this feature important to you - It reduces time when needing to bulk update Alerts to send to specific users. How would you like the feature to work - After selecting the specific Alerts in the Alerts UI, it would be nice to have a 'Share' button (similar to how sharing Segments works) so you can add users to receive Alert emails. Current Behaviour - Currently this is a very manual effort to add additional users to an Alert after creating. If there are 100 Analytics Alerts and you get requested to add 1 person to receive those alerts, you have to edit each Alert to manually add the user to it.

For segments that have multiple criteria against a single dimension, it would be much faster to be able to use a regex operator like Google Analytics instead of having to set the conditions one by one.I created a segment in Adobe Analytics that has almost 30 different criteria that define it - all using the “page” dimension - connected with OR logic.In Google Analytics it would be easy to create this segment using regex, but in Adobe Analytics it took me quite a bit of time, having to drop in and set one criteria at a time.I think this would be a very valuable operator to add to operators currently supported in segments.

Note: this isn't limited to Analytics, but Adobe's Documentation Infrastructure as a whole.   Description - While this may be hard to go back in time to achieve, I have seen a number of complaints and felt the pain myself... Either bookmarking something I would use frequently, like the Raw Data Column Reference (which has been moved about 4 times), or finding old links in Experience League...    Many of the old posts still offer a wealth of information; but they are lessened by the fact that half the reference links are broken.   Why is this feature important to you -   We all rely on documentation, and being able to find that documentation quickly and easily is of utmost importance. - This feature should be consider important and it should be created inside Adobe Analytics - Server calls usage. - We need to track Video calls, Starts or Media Streams. At the moment it seems that Adobe has not added this feature yet into the platform or future Roadmaps.  - This feature gives more usage visibility to all users of Analytics in order to improve their adoption, usage, strategy for the future and avoid any over usage invoices

In light of the latest discontinuation notice informing that Adobe will be ending the services of "Reports and Analytics" section including all of its exclusive metrics and reports, and replacing it with Workspace, we'll be losing one of the metrics which is of an utmost importance to our daily analytical tasks, and also important to other markets, which is "Monthly Unique Visitors" metric.   What makes this metric very essential is being able to breakdown the monthly active base across the month's days, in order to identify which users have appeared for the first time in exactly which day of the month.It'd be great if Adobe can either retain their metric somehow, and replicate it to be used in Workspace, due to its great importance. Also, my question is, is there a work-around to calculate this metric under custom metrics?   Thanks.

I know I can use the flow tool, but I want to pull in Next Page as a variable in a workspace dashboard.

There is the option to add a user expiration, and to change / extend it but not to remove it so if you accidentally set an expiration or for example somebody decides to leave the business but we manage to retain them we can't ever remove that expiration. Minor but slightly annoying.

It would be infinetely beneficial to enable processing rules to build/handle the product variable.  This is something other 3rd party tools like Segment & mParticle are able to do.  As our implementation becomes more complex and spans multiple platforms we are reliant on mutliple developers (web, ios, android, windows, etc) for implementation support.   Asking our developers to update the product string for all new measurement requirements requires time & money.  However, asking them to prgoramatically solve adding new variables to a product context variable (or any context variable) reduces developement resources and increases implementation speed & flexibility. It would be great if we could pass an array of product data as a context variable that we could then use to build the product string with processng rules.  See below for an example array. Also, it would be an added bonus if we no longer had to set s.events for events existing wthin the product variable.  But if thi

A Flow visualization can get a little difficult to handle after the user switches from one dimension to another.One dimension:Very clean and aligned with what I clicked. Page Type = Product Details is expanded into all the next Page Types.But as soon as I switch dimensions in the right-most column to Product (to analyze what products were being accessed), I get into trouble:Each value that was shown in the Page Type column is now expanded into the Product dimension column: Product Details, Department, Search Results, Shopping Cart, and Home. To continue my analysis, I have to click everything but Product Details.I'd love to be able to right-click on one of the values in Page Type to focus on paths that go through that Product Details item only:

Need a way to show hour to date sales for comparison to last year.  If you use the YOY Basic Tempate in Workspace and click on the calendar, hour is not an option.  Please add hour as an option.

Within the scheduled projects page can we have the option of the column which shows the next time the project is scheduled to be run?

...just some food for thought :-)I find it really confusing that we have to buy 'Mobile Services' to get access to the marketing link builder capability.It feels like it is just such a fundamental analytics requirement to understand what marketing channel is driving app downloads etc. that it should just be a standard part of Analytics rather than hived off and bundled with a push notification capability (always seemed like an odd pairing!).The website equivalent would almost be like trying to sell the s.campaign/marketing channel variables as a separate add on

Hello Adobe,Please create a way for individual users to be able to set a default report suite or their Reports, Workspaces, etc. It would also be good for admins to have the capability to set a company-wide default report suite.Thanks for considering,Tracy G

Currently the contact email defaults to whoever setup the schedule and it can't be changed. I don't want to receive the multiple confirmation emails sent everyday but instead want to send them to a group mailbox. It would be good to have the functionality to do this. Also once an extract is scheduled it is not possible to then go back into that extract and change any of the options i.e. amend a segment applied or change a metric. It would be good if the extract could be edited post scheduling. At the moment we need to cancel request and reschdule. It would be good to have the ability to clean up the recent requests list. Once something is cancelled or runs it remains on the list. We now have 100's. It would be good if we could housekeep this list and tidy up all old requests.

As an Adobe Analytics leader across many markets, I would like to enable account & data access governance by creating different permissions for our reporting users. In the Old Adobe product, you could provide Read Only access to the Admin - Report Suite settings section. This means user could at least go into the configuration of a report suite and see the eVar, Props, events, marketing channels rules that are created (but prevent their ability from modify the settings).Today you can not with the new portal. It has a "Read" view in Permission-Report Suite Tools, but you can still Write & modify configurations. This is not good for data & account set-up governance.I would recommend to redefine the current Read Views as they are quite inaccurate.

Hello, I would like an option to set a threshold % for summary change visualWhere for example say "2%" set would make the visual show 'No change' if its between +2% and -2%This way only significant changes would show up as something to draw attention.And with the field everybody can setup the custom threshold for themselves.ThanksMisi

I hope the title says enough. It is clumsy and inefficient to have to create/edit a segment, save it which closes the segment interface, go find the new segment (it doesn't always show up in segments list alongside reports, nor in segment manager; I have had lag times of half a day before a new segment is available to work with!), and THEN use segment manager to share with other users.   Please add an option to do this right from the segment add/edit interface.

While it's unusual we're a relatively large business and sometimes rely on the logs within the admin section to identify who made a change in certain situations. Currently Data Feed changes don't show up under the logs, these are particularly important to us and any changes can severely impact downstream processes in our business if changed without prior planning and notice. Could changes to these be added to the logs so we're able to identify who made a change, when they made it and to which feed.
