Hi All,   I just have some issues with the Tertiary Values and Classification Rules that we have setup and I'm wondering if you have encountered the same. Maybe you guys may also have insights on what have we been setting wrong on our Classification Rules   The setup is like as below: item 1 = "yes" or "no" item 2 = "yes" or "no" item 3 = "yes" or "no" eVar X = <item 1>|<item 2>|<item 3>   Sample Values can be: eVar X = yes|yes|yes eVar X = no|no|no eVar X = yes|no|yes The Classification Rules as setup as Rule 1 = item 1 Rule 2 = item 2 Rule 3 = item 3 So when we created a report for Rule 3 with a custom event, the expected value should be just "yes" or "no". The issue is, our report shows "yes", "no" and "unspecified". When I breakdown the "unspecified" by eVar X, it will show the correct values with only "yes" or "no" values. No empty one.      

We have a sprawling organization, and our Adobe implementation has hundreds (thousands?) of legacy eVars and sProps for which there is little to no documentation. I would like two professional Web analysts on my team to have visibility into the rules (especially legacy rules) that are set up in Analytics Admin Tools.   The organization will not grant Admin access to anyone beyond one person [the First Admin] Is it possible for the First Admin to grant "read-only" access to Analytics Admin Tools in order for teams to have more visibility into how things are set up? If not, is there anyone in the community who can suggest a way for my Web Analytics professionals to gain more transparency into how things are current configured?

I use the Adobe Analytics connector in Power BI to pull data into a dataflow. This all works fine, except when I schedule the data to be refreshed. I'm able to successfully setup the connection, enter our Adobe account and manually kick-off the refresh. Often times the first scheduled refresh also works. Then I start getting an error saying "Credentials not found for data source". I can re-enter the same credentials and get it working again for another week or so, and then the credentials error happens again.   Any ideas on how to prevent the Adobe credentials from going stale? Is there a setting on our Adobe account that would prevent this? Do I need to allow Power BI as a third-party app or something like that? Any help is appreciated.

I know there is a way to calculate percentage change for a metric between two time periods (e.g. Page Views this month v. Last Month). The way that I do this is to use the "Compare Time Periods" option. However, if I break this down by Page, sometimes I see +1000% because some went from 1 page view to 10. I'm only interested in pages that had significant viewership (e.g. >100 page views). Is there a good way to layer this into the calculation?

Background: My team uses DOMO instead of AA for the visualization as it fits our needs. However, the API with DOMO limits the number of variables we can pass. Additionally, we want to track the different products our users use (we have over 20 products) - the users may use product X and then product Y, and then product Z all within the same session but not necessarily the same visit.    I see that there is a method to do this - https://experienceleaguecommunities.adobe.com/t5/adobe-analytics-questions/how-to-record-visit-id-in-an-evar/m-p/204424 BUT my question is - does Adobe provide anything OOB for such a situation?    

Is there a report that exists in the adobe suite or is it a custom report? I'm trying to understand the performance of my banner slotting which ones are getting the most traffic and attributing to revenue.

Hi team,   I have a segment to include a list of pages based on the folder or a specific URL. I use:   Include HIT    Canonical URL starts with "https://www.xxx.com/us/en/folder-1"  name or Canonical URL starts with "https://www.xxx.com/us/en/folder-2"  name   Now I need to exclude one page url from "https://www.xxx.com/us/en/folder-1" folder. For this rule I can't use "or" as that brings back more URLs outside of the desired folders. And I can't use a mix of "or" and "and".    If I add a new container to have Exclude HIT, that container gets added within the first "Include HIT" container. So I am still unable to use a mix of "or" and "and" between those two containers. I found this example in the community which is something that I think is similar to what I am trying to do, but again I can't add a mix of Pages as one container with "or" and another container to Exclude HIT one page URL.   Can you please advise on

I'd like to access my clients' Adobe Analytics data over the API in order to integrate it with my own data about them. So I'd like to make an OAuth client which they can each authenticate in the usual way. I already do the same thing with Google Analytics.   But when I go to the developer console I can't add the Analytics API to a project because I don't myself have the Analytics service. It's disabled.   How do I proceed? Is this meant to be possible?   This is exactly the same question as asked here a few years ago: https://github.com/AdobeDocs/analytics-2.0-apis/issues/286. But I can't tell from the responses what the answer is.   Thanks for your help!

Dear Community,   Can you please help with troubleshooting ECID? We have some websites (domain and subdomains) with the same setup in Adobe Launch for Adobe analytics and ECID. But one of the subdomains doesn't get ECID resolved, and therefore FID is used by AA.   The AMCV and s_fid cookies are getting set together at the same time (screenshot attached), In this case, the mid never gets sent to AA.   Would really appreciate it if someone already faced this issue and can share the resolution.Thanks.   

Hello,   My company has been acquired by another company which also uses Adobe Analytics and we've been told to migrate all of our Adobe solutions to their ORG ID.  As it relates to Adobe Analytics, it is critical for us to keep our historical data when migrating over to the new company's report suite.  My question is, is the below process accurate for getting all of the data from our current report suite (hit level, timestamped data) into a different report suite?   Create a new report suite under target ORG ID that matches the source Use Data Feeds to export the last 25 months (default storage limit in AA) Massage the data from Data Feeds to be the format Data Insertion API needs Use the Analytics Data Insertion API to upload the last 2 years worth of data into the new ORG ID/Report Suite Is this accurate?  Just to be clear, it is important that all of the data is ported over to the new report suite just as if the data was collected client-side with appMeas

Hi, I'm looking to get a solution on how to encrypt Adobe analytics data coming from the Data Feeds to SFTP. We have a strict policy of encrypting any third-party data before it lands on our Cloud. Is there a way Adobe provides to encrypt the data?

I am working on Adobe Analytics API 1.4 but I am getting different results when I am making API calls from reporting API and data warehousing API. Please refer to the screenshot I have used dummy data to explain the difference between those API calls. Also I am using same company name and suite id. I am not sure what am I missing or if is it an expected result.

Hi,   I was exploring in Analytics Workspace and noticed that the below tables produce different values when I put date ranges on rows than they do when I put dimension selection on rows. This surprised me and I don't know how to interpret the difference. Can anybody explain this to me? Thank you!  

I've just implemented media reporting on my site and it all seems to work splendidly.    Almost.   Problem is that I've implemented it by allocating media reporting to a dev report suite (so it could all be tested) and now I can't for the life of me work out how to change it to be allocated to the 'production' report suite instead.   Any ideas?

Hi,   When I filter my workspace by specific URLs and drag the bounce rate metric, it pulls in even more URLs that I didn't filter by. Thus, giving me an inaccurate number for the pages I want to look at. For example, if I want to look at the bounce rate for 25 pages, it'll pull in 10,000 other links and give me the bounce rate for those pages.   Please let me know how to go about this issue.    Thanks

Even though my account is configured as an admin and I have set up all the permissions in the product profile of Adobe Analytics, I keep on getting this error message: "You have successfully logged in, however no reports have been enabled for your account yet".

Background: CarMax operates in a product team model, where each product team is responsible for a different area of the website. I provided the 1st party tagging requirements, and was responsible for all the administrative areas in Adobe, but each of those teams used their own developers to implement tags. Then we had another siloed 3rd party tag developer. Operating in silos led to several problems: 1. Pipeline management •Blocked pipeline delays critical updates •Too many cooks in the kitchen •Not best practice/goes against Adobe’s recommended approach2. Risk •Product dev’s don’t understand the implications of the changes they make, which puts at risk… •All 3rd party media tags (power ~$xxM in media spend) •1st party tags (power reporting, lead scoring models, etc.)3. Tagging was deprioritized •Product dev’s not all adequately trained on tagging •Too many competing priorities •No resources to support site-wide initiatives (like global tags)4. Inconsistency •Inconsistent use

 When I send a scheduled excel workbook generated by Report Builder, the excel file opens in protected view . It displays all the data from report builder requests whilst still in "protected view" however it it does not execute the excel formula using this data until I click on "Enable Editing".  Is there a way to get the output of the excel formula displayed when a user opens the file in protected view without asking them to click on "Enable Editing" ? is there a setting in report builder I have missed that does this?  I want to avoid asking the recipients of the reports to  change their Trust Center settings in excel to switch off protected view.
