We would like the "Requested By" field on a project to display the "Resolving Issue's Requested by".

We would like the Project details to include who the original requestor was. For example currently a chef will put in a "request/issue". On that request under our Admin area it shows the chef (Melany) as the requested by. But in the request overview it labels the chef as "primary contact" and puts a N/A under "requested by".

Then the Project Manager (Jenn) converts the request into a project. On the Project it now shows the PM as the requestor. Is it possible to get this to show the resolving Issue's Requested by on here instead. Basically we want to easily see from within the project who made the original request. Any ideas?

Hi Tracy,

At Truist Financial, we generally advise that project owners set the requester (also known as the primary contact) as the project sponsor. This makes approvals within the project easier when the requester is also approving the changes. You can see how this is handled in about a minute of WFPro Live 11 at this mark. It also made it easy to create a "Projects I Sponsor" dashboard with wildcard filters for an improved requester experience.

Thanks,

Narayan (Truist)
