Requested by field under the Issue Stakeholders section of the Overview

Hi everyone, I was wondering if anybody could advise how the 'Requested By' field is populated under the Issue Stakeholders section of the Overview in an Issue/Request. The field is appearing as N/A, but I can't seem to find where it links to. Thank you!

this ended up being the name of the person who assigned the request [to someone else]. I first tried to assign it to myself and it didn't populate (n/a).

Routing rules count -- if you submit a request that routes to a team, your name shows up as "requested by".

This isn't particularly useful information and it appears to only record the first person (I tried to assign a request to someone else after someone had assigned it to me, and it kept the other person's name)

If it is confusing to your users maybe you should just remove it from the layout template.

I think this would be the Entered By Name (if you're running a report). Can't think of why it would be NA unless you happened to delete a user accidentally.

Hi Skye, thank you for your reply. Please see image below. As you can see from the below the primary contact is auto populating, but the Requested By field is showing as N/A.

The primary contact does automatically populate but also is editable (just mentioned this in case you were unaware). These two fields are initially linked to each other but definitely can show different things.

I think the best thing for you to do is submit a case to Workfront Support. They will be able to coach you into giving them all the information necessary to get this bug fixed for you.

Thank you, Skye. That's really helpful.

I think I'll remove it from the template for now.
