Reassigning tasks to another user is not sticking

When I go to reassign a task to a user of the same role, it is not sticking. Typically, I can reassign and click out of it but now the task is staying assigned to myself when I click out of it. Is this a result of permissions change or something else? Thank you so much!

It is happening to us too. It is a glitch. If you add people, then go back in and then remove yourself it will reassign. Submit a ticket to help bump it up the priority fix list cause I'm in autopilot and keep forgetting then have to keep redoing it lol.

That was happening to me yesterday. If you click into the task people icon on the task you're trying to edit, it will open up a new editable box that will accept the edits.
