"Amount of Tasks" Column VIew Option

Im looking for a customized view option that shows how many tasks each project has. When I am looking at all of my projects I think it would be beneficial to see how many tasks each project has in it. I will continue looking though my self, I just thought that I would reach out to the community to see if they are faster. Thanks all for your help!

*UPDATE* I have found "Number of Open Issues" and "Number of Open Risks" don't do what I thought they would do.

Nicolas, consider creating a Task based matrix report, grouping vertically by Project Name, and horizontally by Task Status (or something else of interest), showing row counts. The total you seek would be in the far right column of the matrix. You could also bar chart it, stacking the number of Tasks by Status to yield the total Task count by Project. Regards, Doug
