Hi all, does anyone know if it's possible to pull a project level custom form field up to a program level standard field? I have built a custom form which has a 'program' field (and sub questions displayed based on the logic settings). I understand you can add calculated fields to a custom form which pull from other objects, but is it possible to populate the standard program field on a project from this custom form? Can't find anything in the settings for standard fields...

Hey Olu,
So you don't get to do much at all with the standard fields within the Workfront interface. The only two options I know of in the Workfront "standard" space are either:
(1) a periodic kickstart import. Which is very unwieldly and would only be viable if you had many custom form fields that fed to many standard fields, updated on something like a monthly basis. Someone would have to "run" this import each time.
(2) Using Fusion to pull the data from the custom form location and populate it into the standard field using a "Watch --> Read --> Update" modules in Fusion.
Unfortunately I don't of another way to get the standard fields to do much other than accept data entered into them. I hope someone else knows of a way!

Hi Ol3, I just want to be sure I understand the use case here. The ask is for custom data entered in at the project level to be "read" by the standard field and then populated in that field after the fact?
Is there any transformation or calculation of any kind, or just a 1:1 copy into a field that is WF "standard"?

Hi JMitchell44, yes that's correct. No calculation required, just a 1:1 copy to the standard field

Option 2 sounds like one to try.
Thanks!
