Projects in Planning Status

Hi, can anyone please share what the major implications are if a project is left in Planning status? Many thanks in advance. Clement Woo Canon Australia

The Assignees can't see their Tasks in My Work and don't get emails on changes to the dates. Which obviously can be the reason to keep it IN the Planning status (to avoid the notifications until you're ready).

If you're considering using Capacity Planning at some point, I'd suggest you also read up on (and test) the rules around how Tasks and Issues under a Project whose status is Planning are(n't) considered, and whether for your situation that's a good (or bad) thing.
