Projects I'm On - Custom View

Hi there I would like to provide a custom view under the 'Projects I'm On' tab where it doesn't show the projects I own in the list. I have figured out where I can add a rule to the 'Owner' column but I cannot figure out how to make a view NOT show certain data, similar to a report. I realise I could use a report but I'm trying to keep it clean and simple.
