Project Time bar on time sheets, can this be grayed out?

We only use Task time right now, however we have people accidentally putting their time in Project Time. Can this be grayed out on the time sheet ? Becky Atkins Intelisent Creative Services (Company) becky.atkins@intelisent.com

I believe this has to do with the access level of the user. If your user has access to edit Project in the access level, the boxes across project time under the dates are fillable. If you've limited the user to view in projects in the access level, the entry boxes are grayed out for project time. This also limits the user from logging time under Updates with the project. Hi Becky, Polly is right. You can edit the user's access to the project, and they can have either View access, or Contribute. If they have contribute access, you'll need to remove the ability to log hours. The down side to doing it this way, is that users won't inherit the ability to log hours to tasks unless they are specifically assigned, as they'll inherit the same access to the task, as they have at the project level. Another way to do it, if you don't use project time at all, is to go to Setup, Timesheets & Hours, Preferences, and remove the ability to log time to projects. Hope you have a wonderful day! We use the 2nd option that Dustin mentioned; make sure you don't have the option in yellow selected. It is the cleanest and easiest to manage. Admin Kelly-Wehrmann SSFCU
