Unfortunately, that's the way the digest works right now, old threads don't get pulled into the daily digest. The good news is that we're actively developing a new digest service so that any comment on an older thread will pull it into the next day's (or week's) digest.
Everyone who posted on that thread or liked that thread will most likely have gotten a notification about your post (depends on their individual settings), but if you want to, feel free to start a new post/thread about your new idea submission until we get the new digest service running.
I can't wait for it to be done!
