Hi,
Two items my teammates are missing with the new Home page widgets. The inability to sort by commit date and when the widget has the ties to undo to see more details of the weeks, the ties don't stay collapsed. We were under the impression widgets were a little more customizable but that may not be true.
If anyone has suggestions or more information, please let me know.
Thank you,
Mandy
If you are using the My Tasks widget:
For the Commit Date, I would create a new grouping that pulls against the Commit Date field and group it by day (or however you need it to display). Then, you can turn on that grouping in the widget.
I did attempt adding the Commit Date field to the Column as a visible field within a layout template under the widget settings and then be able to sort. But it is showing as greyed out and won't appear on my widget as a toggle option. I am putting a ticket in with Support to get some clarity on why it is doing this.

Just an FYI: If you disallow users to create their own views, as is good practice, they will not be able to select columns that you set for them.
From Support on getting the Commit Date to appear as a column on the Widget:
Once the new column is added to your layout template, navigate to home and refresh the page. Refreshing the browser page while on home allows for the requests to be made on the backend to fetch the updated columns. You will then see the column added within the widget.
