Matrix Reporting - Sort Columns in Order

Hi, I have written a Matrix report to show the status columns for a story/task. I would like these to sort by progressive order from New to Analysis to Definition....to Complete. Currently, they are sorting out of the normal progressive order. Has anyone written text code to resolve this? Thanks! Laurie

But this is in a report. I would like to show the various states of the stories in the iterations/Kanban view. I added the statuses to System Statuses, then hid them for all but one group. I should be able to change to these statuses for the default 3 stage view, and cannot. Further, I cannot click on the plus to the right of the statuses bar to expand to 4 or more statuses in the view. Thanks! Laurie
