Hey everyone!

My name is Nate Bagley. I'm the new Community Manager here at Workfront.

My job is to support you, answer your questions, facilitate conversations, help you get to know the Workfront software better, and make this community a cool place for you to visit regularly. I'm really excited to get to know you all personally.

I'd love it if you'd upload a profile picture of yourself here is a walkthrough of how to do that if you get stuck ) and then introduce yourself briefly in the comments below by answering one or all of these questions:

How do you use Workfront?

What would make this community amazing for you?

How much time do you spend using Workfront on a daily basis?

What are you passionate about (other than work)?

What's your favorite joke?

Here's a little about me: I'm very passionate about podcasting, I love Lindy Hop dancing, my guilty pleasure is the Muppets, and I'm super excited to be here at Workfront. I know the team here cares about you a lot. They're really excited to meet a bunch of you at LEAP in a few weeks. Ok, your turn! Upload that profile picture , and introduce yourself!

Hi everyone! My name is John Mitchell and I am a Senior PM at VSP Global, I work on the implementation team for one of our business units: Eyefinity. It is a optometry/ophthalmology end-to-end practice management solution that covers everything from patient check in to creating and shipping glasses and contacts. I'll be an SME for Workfront here at VSP. I'm brand new to Workfront, but I have used Basecamp, Wrike, Project, and every unholy spawn of Excel spreadsheet known to the lost souls roaming offices at night. If I could find a person that has experience making Workfront (and Fusion) work with JIRA, Confluence, and especially Salesforce would be amazing as we are just getting into pulling an existing Workfront implementation from our small business team and into the enterprise side. Heads up on pitfalls would be sweet! Hopefully all day, no projects are implemented yet. I'm passionate about working out at lunch, tinkering (woodworking, very poor soldering of LED-based projects with my kids), and once the kids/wife are asleep at night I do some gaming on the side. Not much time else for anything. What's a pirate's favorite letter? (Person starts to answer R) [Loudly interrupt in your saltiest sailor voice: NO ITS THE SEA YA LANDLUBBER!] Hope to talk to some of you soon! John Mitchell

Hi John, Welcome to the community! I think you'll find it very useful as you take on this new challenge. There are some very experienced users in here who have been down all the roads you're heading towards. We tested the Salesforce plugin successfully and we are a SSO shop. My advice there, make sure the salesforce admin who is installing the plugin is also a system administrator in Workfront (temporarily if needed). Other than that, the documentation for the installation is well done. --Narayan

Hello Everyone and Happy New Year!! My name is Debi Ravareau and one year ago I set out to find an intake tool and a project management tool for our team. It was a long process with many demos, conversations, and tool comparisons. You won't believe how hard it is to find a tool that does both intake and projects. The journey has had it's ups and downs; I'm happy to say we choose Workfront and we are on our way to organizing our work, have better collaboration and overall vision of what's happening in our department. I hope to meet some of you during boot camp to your hear your successes and stumbling points. Debra Ravareau Centene - G&A - Communication

Hi everyone! I'm the Workfront administrator for Pentana Solutions, which is a global automotive ERP supplier headquartered out of Melbourne, Australia. We have a number of offices around the world and know the ins and outs of how timezones work in Workfront... We've been using Workfront for just over 3 years, and I'd say we're fairly advanced users (but far from perfect). We also heavily use Fusion (for integration with other systems) and Power BI (for advanced reporting and visualisations). I'm active on the community and always happy to offer help, as it has been a great resource for me over the years. David Cornwell

It's a new implementation here - we're software consultants, and we like the resource planning capabilities of Workfront. we're struggling to get expenses working well (integration to QuickBooks) - kinda important when our team travels to see our clients regularly. Hi everyone, I'm Alex, the current Studio Administrator for Nomensa, a UX Digital Design Company based in the UK. We use Workfront extensively for project management and are in the process of expanding our usage into other areas, such as the My Work area for users and other features such as automated reminders and the Kanban board. If anyone has any advice or information on how they do this in their company, this would be much appreciated. I use Workfront 95% of the time. I'm the most knowledgeable user in the company and am using this to explore other functionalities that could benefit our business. I'm a drummer for a post-hardcore outfit, but live and breathe heavy metal. I also practice aerial hoop on a regular basis and am just getting started getting into voiceover work, which is something I've wanted to do for a very long time! Hi my name is Rob Gregson and I am the Project Manager for St. Joseph's College, New York. My role is within the Marketing & Communications group. We are currently testing Workfront internally and will soon be beta testing our workflow with our clients who are the faculty and staff of the college. We now have a manual process which entails moving physical job folders throughout the department. We have mirrored the manual workflow we using in building out templates within Workfront. This is difficult for many team members to no longer have a job folder on their desk. We have a process within the department where design and editorial teams communicate back and forth many times with reviews and approvals before the client receives their proof. We are currently deciding on best practice to ensure accuracy but not be overkill. I would love to compare creative project workflow with other WF users for insight into the creative and editorial proofing process they use. Feel free to reach out and connect! Hi everyone! My name is Carolyn Finney and I am a new Workfront Admin. for our Creative Services area. I am a newbie to Workfront - I've been using it for about 3 months now. I was at LEAP in Dallas and i have to say - IT WAS GREAT! I am so enthusiastic about Workfront now! You can do so much with it! Being a newbie, I think thie community will be helpful because it will allow me to ask questions that others may think are elementary. I have been spending alot of time in the reports section. I love to travel (was excited to go to Dallas - never been). My bucket list includes visiting every state in the USA. So far, I am up to 27, including the District of Columbia. My rule is that I have to be in the state for at least 2 hours, have a meal, and buy a T-shirt as proof that I was there. I also love music and singing. I don't have a favorite joke, but I do like funny comercials on TV. Carolyn Finney Independence Blue Cross
