Import MS Project to existing Workfront Project

Avatar

Hello,

I understand how to import a MS Project (XML) when creating a new project.

However, how do I import a MS Project file to an existing workfront project?

@andrewhheller First import the project and move to the desired project. What I have experienced, that you can import from MS Project with few selective constraints. In my opinion, better to import in separate, then adjust your constraints and other specific parameters once needed, then after move it.

Hi @andrewhheller

May be this article will guide you in this regard;

https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/workfront/using/manage-work/projects/create-projects/import-...

Once you import then move them under your desired project.

Thank you.

Articles states one can only import a MS Project file to a new project.

So it is not possible to import a project file to an existing workront project?
