How to create an expense report that filters by Portfolio?

How can I create an expense report that filters by Portfolio? Currently, both Expenses and Portfolio don't talk to each other.

I've tried and thought about:

1. Tried adding the portfolio filter manually via text mode - didn't work

2. Thought about adding a custom field on a project level so I can filter via that. I don't think this would be a viable option as we have a ton of forms used across my team

Any other ideas?

What exactly are you trying to do? What text mode did you try? I'm trying to figure out why the standard mode Project >> Portfolio ID didn't work for you, but can also troubleshoot your text mode if you're able to provide it..

Thanks, @skyehansen! I overlooked Project > Portfolio ID. That worked! Thanks again
