Hi there! A lot to say here but you'll need to first make sure you have a timesheet profile associated with the user(s) you want to be able to use timesheets and that Timesheets are accessible in your layout template's main menu. Whenever you log time from your Home work list, directly in a task/issue, from the project, it'll all populate in your timesheet - the timesheet is just another place to be able to log time from a centralized place.
You can set up your timesheets to go to an approver/require submission, or not.
