Gantt View Not Maintained - By Design or UI problem?

Recently I had one of our users contact me about their Gantt view not being maintained when moving between the project tab, task detail tab and back again. He wrote: View a large project. Select Gantt view Click on a task to view its details. Go back the project view. The UI returns to the task list and forgets the Gantt setting. Can anyone tell me if this is by design (since Gantt is not a specific view offered in the View dropdown) or a UI problem that I should submit a ticket/Idea Exchange item for? Until yesterday, I would have said it was by design. But yesterday I was showing someone the Agile view for a project and when I went back afterwards, the Agile view was still there. It still might be by design for the Gantt view, but it is weird the behavior is different between the two views. Anthony Imgrund FCB
