Does anyone have experience assigning recurring tasks to an agile team?

When I move a recurring task/story from the backlog into an interation, it moves all instances of the recurring task rather than the one due just that week/month etc. Does anyone know a way around this?

Are you assigning both the parent and subtasks? You should unassign the parent task and assign only all the subtasks. That way you can bring each one in. I added a few screenshots to illustrate in action.
