Converting Task with logged hours to project

I am having trouble converting a task with logged hours to a project, any advice?

Hi Nadia,

There are a number of different settings that could cause challenges with doing that. The most common is that the person trying to convert the Task does not have Manage access to that Task. If that doesn't help, can you share a screenshot or the error message that you get when you attempt to convert the task?
