Convert Task to Issue

Hi, I think the answer to this is "no" but is there any way to convert a Task to an Issue? (This is for Tasks that were *not* originally submitted as requests/issues and thus do not have a "This Resolves" connection to an issue in the Taks Details.) We have a number of Tasks that should have been entered as Issues and are simply wondering if there is a quick way to move them into the Issues tab, or if we will just have to recreate them as Issues. Kurt, If you open a task, click on Task Actions, there is an option to Convert to Project. Hopefully this helps. Thanks, Shelly

Thanks for the reply, Shelly. However, we are not wanting to convert a Task to a Project. Rather, we want to convert a Task to an Issue . The Task Actions drop down doesn't have an option for that and we have not been able to figure out another way to do it. My hunch is it's not possible to convert Task --> Issue; only Issue --> Task and Task --> Project. - Kurt

No worries, Shelly. I can totally relate. :-) We'll plan to manually recreate the Issues and then delete the corresponding Tasks, since there doesn't seem to be a better way to convert Task --> Issue. - Kurt
