Anyone doing drop ship??

Is anyone supporting drop ship in your organization? I am needing to talk with someone about the process used and the timeline to get items live on your website. More specifically, how long are you taking from receipt of item SKU, description, and photo to have items live for purchase? Are you running multiple items in a "batch" or handling each item individually? We are exploring drop ship and I have never managed the process before so any words of wisdom would be appreciated.
