Agile structure in Workfront for a specific team under a Portfolio

Avatar

I want to create an Agile Team(SCRUM) with Iterations & Sprints for the development team who assignments are there across the portfolio.

I am able to switch the normal team to a Agile team, I can new story in the backlog or iteration but not able to see all the tasks that are already assigned to the team.

Can anyone help me understand the Agile team creation and its management?

Thanks in Advance!

Hi @Srinija_N

First step is to assign tasks to the Agile team, these tasks start appearing in the backlog section of the team.

Then you have to create iterations for the Agile team by going to hamburger menu > teams > select the agile team > Iterations.

Once iterations are created, click on the tasks in the backlog or in their respective projects and add them to iterations based on the start and end date of your iteration. this post should be helpful - https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/workfront/using/agile/scrum/iterations/add-stories-to-exi...

In essence, you need to think of it as a funnel where assignments to this agile team go to the backlog then get assigned to a sprint (iteration) based on their priority. Best practice is to keep your sprint duration to two weeks and create them as iterations in Workfront for the entirety of your engagement.

Hope this helps, happy to answer any further questions.
