Request for Proof Report with Approver Details

Hello,

The client would like to see a proof report that includes the following information:

  • Approver name

  • Proof progress

  • Stage the user belongs to

  • Decision status

They also want to understand whether an approver is pending due to the proof being on hold in a previous stage. Essentially, they’re looking for something that closely mimics what’s shown on the Proof Workflow page.

Here’s an example of the desired format:

Option 1 – All stages with SOCD

  • Proof Status: Pending (already included in the report)

  • Proof Review Status: Only Approvers

    • Stage 1: User name – Approved

    • Stage 2: User name – Pending – Sent / Opened

    • Stage 3: User name – Pending – Not Sent

  • Proof Owner: User name (already included in the report)

Additionally, they would like to filter the report by role, so that only Approvers are shown—Reviewers should be excluded.

Is this achievable?

Best regards,
Maria

Hi @mvega

I would follow these steps :

  • Create a Proof Approval report

    • Click Add Column.

    • Search for and add:

      • Proof Approval: Approver Name

      • Proof Approval: Stage Name

      • Proof Approval: Decision Status

      • Proof Approval: Proof Progress

      • Proof: Name

      • Proof: Owner Name

      • (You may need to explore other Proof Approval fields to see if any provide more granular "opened" status, but typically these are high-level.)

  • Groupings Tab:

    • Click Add Grouping.

    • Select Proof: Name.

    • Click Add Grouping again.

    • Select Proof Approval: Stage Name.

  • Filters Tab:

    • Click Add Filter Rule.

    • Select Proof Approval: Is Current Document Version > Equal > True.

    • Click Add Filter Rule.

    • Select Proof Approval: Approver > Role > Equal > Type in the exact name of your "Approver" role (e.g., "Approver").
