Typeahead field to be linked to the object

We wanted to use the typeahead field to store the Backup Requestor and use it like a secondary project sponsor, but we can't do that until we can report and filter on it.

Kristine - you can report and filter on typeahead fields. Your only option is Name and ID number though. So you can create a report that is like All Requests I'm The Backup Requestor On. You just can't get fancy with teams, managers, job roles, etc. because those aren't available yet for User typeahead fields.

We have a similar use case and would greatly benefit from the typeahead field becoming a "clickable" link.

I just had a project manager ask if there's a way to hyperlink in a custom form field similar to how you can in Updates.

This is the perfect solution for the field she would like to hyperlink!

We have been wanting this for some time! Would help considerably!

I want to use a typeahead field in place of the company field on a project to make it required. I could rename it to "Client" (because that's what it is) and it would pull in data from the form we have attached to each company.

Currently, I have a Fusion automation that takes what ever is in our "Client" typeahead field and changes the "Company" to that value. This also links the company to the project, giving the project access to the company form data.

Similar to Randy's comment, we have a text field on our request custom form for Finance Code which denotes the allocation of costs. We use the information listed when converting the request to a project and identifying our list of Companies; however, some of our business users do not use the correct or even standard inputs into the Finance Code field so having a typeahead field to use would reduce errors and increase efficiency when converting projects.

Not for nothing, but it would also be nice to have a typeahead field that allows for multiple items of the same object, and they all link as well. For example, a project typehead field that's used for references on a production form and the user can add two more projects in said typeahead field. Then creative would click on those links from the production forms and it whisks them away to reference projects. Just saying...

Unfortunately, none of the one.workfront.com links work anymore and we can't vote on those ideas, unless you can find it manually I suppose 😕😕  Does anyone know if the "Likes" here in the experience league are the same as voting?
