Task Description: Default Field to Be Open/Expanded

Our users request that the Task Description field (in Task Details, Overview) default to being open/fully expanded instead of having to click 'Show More'. User would only need to click to 'Show Less'.

That being said, our ideal solution would be that the task description appear along with the updates information. So, as you consider this request, please look holistically at the task user experience. There are multiple request related to placement/visibility related to task description, updates, reference number to improve UX and increase efficiency.

Yes, this, very much this. It is incredibly frustrating having to constantly expand task description fields and then having to manually copy and paste any URLs located within them rather than being able to click on them.

The task description field should also support basic rich data. At least links, headings, lists, and basic font styles.

To add - I understand that you can click on links but they aren't treated as actual links by the browser and that removes the ability to open them where you'd like. Additionally, I often inadvertently click on links when my intention was to edit the description. This is most often a problem when the link is long and takes up a majority of the small space provided to the description. It'd be better, and more obvious, for there to simply be an edit button and stop treating the description as a textarea all of the time.
