Sum Hours within the 'Hours' Tab of Objects and Report Details instead of Counting Entries

Description - Change the hours records count that is shown at the bottom of an hours tab of any object (or details tab of an hours report) to actually sum the hours that have been logged instead of showing a record count of hour entries

Why is this feature important to you - The current labeling is misleading as it says "Hours" when it is actually a record count of each time hours were logged. There is currently no easy way to see the total sum of hours logged to an object without either creating an hours report and using a matrix, or exporting the hours and summing in excel. The record count of hours is not a useful metric. This has caused numerous people to provide an incorrect hours estimate due to poor labeling.

How would you like the feature to work - Show a sum of actual total hours logged to an object instead of a record count of entries

Current Behaviour - Object hour totals are labeled as 'hours' when they are actually time log entry counts, rather than summing the hours column for total hours logged to an object

@KatieJe  Within your project, on the hours tab, have you tried grouping by Project instead of by Nothing? That should give you the total hours at the top.

Hey Heather, that's a great quick workaround! Thanks for the idea. Unfortunately though I still think that the rollup in the bottom right corner is misleading, especially to those WF users who are not as familiar with groupings. At the very least until it can be changed to an actual hours sum, it should be relabeled as 'Hour Entries' to avoid confusion
