What Is The Idea?
At this time, the recycling bin does not have the functionality to allow administrators to delete specified objects immediately from the instance -- objects must sit in the recycling bin for 30 days before being deleted. This idea is to add the ability for admins to delete specified objects immediately as needed.
Why Is This Idea Important?
As admins, part of our work includes ensuring the security of our users, their work, and the work of our companies in our instances. Some of the work we do includes confidential information that sometimes should not be put into Workfront. While we can setup prevention measures to limit the confidential information from making its way into the instance, sometimes this data still gets through those firewalls. Having the ability to immediately delete the confidential information that falls through the cracks limits the risk of that information being exposed in the event of a hack.
Not only does this keep our instances more secure, but it increases our level of customer obsession on data storage and increases customer trust.
