Please add Recent Updates (currently the left column on the old My Work) to the new My Home page. I depend on this daily to make sure I didn't miss anything.

This hasn't been a huge problem for my users. Most of them prefer to keep getting notifications in their Outlook inbox rather than check the My Updates, though for some it has been an annoyance.

I know this thread is about returning the My Updates column to the Home page somewhere, but it might make even more sense to give the Home page the ability to embed external pages similar to how the Dashboards work. That would allow people to keep a checklist or other external documentation right on the Home page where they're working. Currently, some users here have documentation from Atlassian Confluence open in a separate tab of their browser and switch back and forth to do their work.

Either way, all of my users who have switched to Home tell me it is better than My Work; it just takes a little getting used to.

Agreed! I've lost a quick reference to items I've assigned to other people that are being worked on, or items I am collaborating on but not assigned to.

@Adina - thanks for the /myUpdates tip. Very helpful!

Agreed!! We need this back. Our team doesn't like living out of their inbox so this feature is crucial.

@David and @Adina - how did you add this to a dashboard? I cant open the url and when I try to add it to my personal workfront url it also doesnt work. Would love any tips on how we can create this view for our team.

Thank you! :)

Please consider making this a toggle option and not "always-on". My teams have commented that they prefer Home without all the recent updates.

Hi @Emma,

For me, I created a new Dashboard. It opens a window with three columns: the left most is where you name the dashboard and put in a description, the middle lists the reports and calendars that you can add to the dashboard, and the right column lets you select the layout and see the positioning of the reports and calendars you've added.

At the bottom of this right-most column there is a little text link that says "+ Add External Page". When you click it, it requests a name (I just named it "My Updates"), description and URL. For the URL, I entered "https://<clientDomain>.my.workfront.com/myUpdates" (but substitute your company's domain for the <clientDomain> part). I left the height at 500.

The result is the My Updates page is a window within the dashboard. It's not ideal... If you click one of the header links in the window instead of the top of your browser, it opens that link in the window, and that can get confusing. But if you just scroll down to see My Updates, you can at least get them in the same screen as whatever other reports are useful to you.

Hope that helps!

I agree, bring it back. I hate it when I'm given a "new and improved" product that doesn't even have the features of the "old obsolete" product. It's infuriating and I don't understand why companies purposely make their product worse...

Everyone has been complaining of not seeing "recent upates" / "weekly calendar overview".

Maybe reducing the task description screen, which is way too big, would allow the recent update column to be added back to the left?
