Make Report 'Description' visible when reports are displayed on a Dashboard

The description of a Report is not visible when the report is displayed on a Dashboard.

Proposed change:
Display the description of reports on a dashboard or add the option to the dashboard editing UI, so that the dashboard editor can control, for each of the included reports separately, if the description should be displayed or not.

Benefit:
Ability to provide details of each report to the dashboard audience.

@BethCl1 - A work around I've done is to create a report of the reports that are on my dashboard and pull in the report name and the description and add it to the top of the dashboard.

Great thanks for the suggestion @KellieGWAB we can definitely use this as a workaround until, (hopefully) the idea gets picked up for progression

Thanks again

This is being addressed through the Canvas Dashboards reporting surface and is available now.

Both classic reports placed on a Canvas Dashboard as well as new canvas-based visualizations will have an information icon to the right of the report name to display the report description.

For clarification, this is Delivered in the Canvas Dashboards presentation of a dashboard. When report that has a description is placed on a Canvas Dashboard, users will see the info icon to the right of the report name and can view the description.
