Job Role Effective Dates for Users

I'd like to see effective date ranges added for users in job roles. The goal would be to establish the timeframe in which a user is effectively acting in that job role with a clear end date for the system to establish when actual hours apply to job role A vs. job role B. The expectation is that this allow for more easily identifying the correct roles during a given period of time in order to maintain the history for actuals and reporting.

We promote people. They go from DEVELOPER to SENIOR DEVELOPER but when it comes to Workfront my options are currently limited to a user having 1 role or multiple roles without the fine-tuning we need to under stand that between January and June they were a DEVELOPER and all hours should be attributed to that role. After June they were promoted and all future hours should go to SENIOR DEVELOPER.

This should keep transactions tied to the correct job role regardless of whether a user recalculates the finance on their project. It's also a cleaner way to view historicals for understanding when a user was resourced for what role. I would want this to be incorporated into how the planner tool functions to show planned effort for roles that are assigned when a user transitions between roles due to promotion halfway through. That's another aspect of the data we're trying to record to get an understanding of variance with planned hours/actual hours.

I would also like to see time stamps for when a User was given a Job Role and when that Job Role changed. Also, we would like this to apply to Teams. We have users that change teams often but from and auditing and regulatory perspective we need to pull reporting to show a user's Job Role/Team for that moment in time.
