Ignore empty Edit API calls to avoid incorrect project status update

Due to an empty Edit API request, project status changing to the incorrect status. Can you please update your API calls to ignore empty status update calls?

    So if I understand, when you send an empty/NULL value for project status when calling the edit API, the API changes the status to a different value, rather than leaving the status as is. We would like the ability ignore a Null value for the project status in this API call, and to have the treatment of the Null value in this API configurable by customer instance, Is that correct @star labs support?
