My team really liked the Calendar at the top of My Work as it gave them a quick visual snapshot of tasks due to day, tasks upcoming, and also showed grayed out-Completed Tasks.

We've found the tasks due today and upcoming tasks still show in the Home Calendar, but they really miss being able to easily see a calendar view of what they've recently completed as grayed out tasks on the calendar.

The Work List Completed tasks show tasks by week and they really like the daily view.

Yup. I was told that the completed tasks are supposed to be visually distinct from incomplete tasks so I filed a helpdesk ticket about this.

And for the rest of it, the way I described it was "completed tasks are showing up in the calendar according to Planned Completion Date and should be showing up on Actual Completion Date the way it used to in My Work calendar".
